RUMSON – Senior Danny Cook entered Friday night’s NJSIAA Group 2 semifinal as a sparingly-used backup for Rumson-Fair Haven who nearly quit the team this season. He exited it as a Bulldogs folk hero. The senior cornerback tipped a pass and then came down with an interception in the back of the end zone with 49 seconds remaining to seal a heart-stopping, 35-28 win over Willingboro at Borden Stadium
