Senior Patrick Kollman scored two goals and junior Jack Gill added a goal and an assist as the Colts (10-0, 7-0) coasted to a win over the Colonials (4-6, 4-4). Senior Colin Lankau, junior Kevin Brennan and senior Aaron Robertson each added a goal in the win.

No. 10 Freehold Twp. 3, Howell 1

Sophomore Alex Janssen and junior Kevin Finn each burried shots from outside the 18-yard box in the second half to ignite a come-from-behind win for the Patriots (6-3, 5-3) over the Rebels (1-7, 1-7). Senior Kyle Trainor capped the scoring for Freehold Township.

No. 2 Marlboro 2, Manalapan 0

Senior P.J. Ringel scored in the first half on a service from Steven Karp and junior Brian Dates tacked on a goal in the second half to help the Mustangs (8-1, 7-1) beat the Braves (2-6-1, 2-6-0) for their seventh straight win.

Neptune 1, No. 9 Colts Neck 0

An own goal in the 22nd minute was all the Scarlet Fliers (1-6, 1-6) needed to upend the Cougars (5-4, 4-4) for their first win of the season.

 

Class A Central

Red Bank 1, Holmdel 0

Kevin Gomez struck for the game's lone goal in the 71st minute off a pass from Chris Fuentes and the Bucs (3-4-1, 3-3-1) extended their unbeaten streak to four by halting the four-game winning streak of the Hornets (5-2-1, 4-2-1).

Raritan 3, St. John Vianney 1

Pete Amato set up Jake Fortune for a goal in the first minute with a corner kick and scored off a give-and-go with Ryan Goggins in the eight to help the Rockets (7-1-2, 4-1-2) storm out to an early lead and beat the Lancers (2-7, 1-7).

Dan Del Russo extended the lead to 3-0 with a goal off a Scott Larson assist a minute into the second half. John Caracappa scored the lone St. John Vianney goal.

Matawan 2, Shore 1

Bobby Johns and John Vail each scored a goal and the Huskies (6-2-1, 5-2-1) beat the Blue Devils (3-3-4, 2-2-3), who dropped their third straight after going unbeaten over their first seven matches.

Stevie Johnson scored the Shore goal off an assist from freshman Patrick O'Dwyer.

 

Class A South

Central 5, Brick 0

Youssef Abdelaziz scored two goals and Griffin Bacon, Nick Heim and Vinnie Nelson each added one in a Golden Eagles (8-2, 7-2) rout of the Green Dragons (3-8, 2-7).

 

Class B North

No. 5 Ocean 3, Long Branch 1

Junior Steve Carton scored two goals and sophomore James Schutz added another to help the Spartans (7-1, 6-1) rally from a one-goal halftime deficit to beat the Green Wave (2-7, 2-6).

Joao Pessoa drilled a 35-yard strike in the first half to give Long Branch a 1-0 lead.

Wall 2, Middletown South 1

Reilly Powers opened the scoring for Wall and senior Ryan Gordon scored the game-winner midway through the second half on an assist from Dakota Dobrovich-Fago to lead the Crimson Knights (5-3-2, 5-1-2) to a win over the Eagles (4-5-1, 3-4-1).

Christian Sigua scored a minute before halftime to pull Middletown South even going into the break.

Manasquan 2, Monmouth 0

Dan Del Guercio converted a first-half penalty kick and Dulio Guerrero scored off a feed from Nick Bilotti to put the game away, giving the Warriors (7-2-1, 6-1-1) a win over the Falcons (1-9, 1-7).

No. 3 Middletown North 5, Red Bank Catholic 0

Senior Ryan Harmon recorded a hat trick and the Lions (6-1-1, 6-1-0) coasted to a win over the Caseys (0-9, 0-8). Justin McKenna, Zak Bent and Pat Gallagher assisted the three goals by Harmon, while Elliot De La Rosa and Liam McGregor each scored on penalty kicks.

 

Non-Division

Rumson-Fair Haven 3, Mater Dei Prep 0

Nick Calabrese, George Sellig and Mitch Lauria each scored a goal and the Bulldogs (3-5) blanked the Seraphs (1-7) for their second straight win following a five-game skid.
