No. 3 Jackson Memorial 3, Brick 0

Three different Jackson Memorial players scored a goal and junior Ben Schnaak assisted two of them to lead the Jaguars (8-0, 4-0) over the Green Dragons (4-6-1, 2-2-1) for their eighth straight win to open the season.

Junior Dan Russo and seniors Logan Lewis and Ben Patti each scored a goal, with Russo also adding an assist.

Toms River East 4, Central 0

Junior Dane Bodziak scored two goals and senior Pete Kozlej assisted all four Toms River East tallies to lead the Raiders (4-3, 1-2) to a shutout win over the Golden Eagles (0-8-1, 0-4-1). Sophomore Aidan Meola and senior Logan Romero each added a goal off a Kozlej assist as a well.

No. 7 Southern 2, Toms River North 2

Senior Nico Garcia ignited a fast Toms River North start with two goals in the first 18 minutes, but the Rams (4-3-2, 2-1-1) rallied to send the game to overtime and earn a draw on the road against the Mariners (4-1-3, 3-0-1).

Sophomore Kevin Kiernan got Southern on the board two minutes before halftime and the Rams pulled even on a 55th-minute penalty kick by senior Dylan Blauvelt.

 

Class B Central

Henry Hudson 1, Mater Dei Prep 0

Barret Bremekamp scored off a pass from Wind Levybensetton for the game's lone goal and the Admirals (3-4, 1-1) snapped a four-game skid by beating the Seraphs (0-7, 0-4) for their first B Central win of the season.

Ranney 3, Keyport 2

Senior Ademola Odunlami recorded a hat trick to carry the Panthers (4-3, 4-1) to a win over the Red Raiders (0-6, 0-3). Sean Matos scored by Keyport goals.

Point Beach 4, Asbury Park 0

Senior Ki Costa scored two goals and the Garnet Gulls (4-2-1, 4-0-0) cruised to a win over the Blue Bishops (2-4, 2-2) to remain perfect within Class A Central. Senior Ryan Brodeur and junior Rob DiAgastaro each added a goal in the win and Ben Glass chipped in two assists.

 

Class B South

Lacey 1, Lakewood 0

Junior Sean Moffitt stole a pass in the Lakewood third and finished a shot to the lower left of the goal in the 61st minute and the Lions (7-1, 4-1) held on to beat the previously-unbeaten Piners (7-1-1, 4-1-0) for their seventh straight win.

Barnegat 4, Manchester 1

Four different Barnegat players scored a goal and the Bengals (3-3, 2-3) upended the Hawks (2-6, 0-4). Ricky Norman, Matt White, Alex Zuniga and Connor Costello each scored and White also added an assist.

Logan Duffy scored the lone Manchester goal off a feed from Jason Pagnotta.

Point Boro 1, Jackson Liberty 0 (OT)

Junior Troy Schnappauf scored the golden goal in overtime and the Panthers (2-8, 2-3) beat the Lions (2-4, 2-3) for their second win in as many days.

Pinelands 7, Donovan Catholic 1

Kieran Sundermann scored two goals and Tyler Piazza assisted two to help the Wildcats (6-2, 5-0) beat the Griffins (1-4-1, 0-4-0) for their sixth straight win. Anthony Diaz, Dominic Dos Santos and Aniello Lubrano each added a goal for Pinelands.
