Kevin Finn and Adrian Barajas each scored a second-half goal and the Patriots blanked the Cougars. Barajas's goal was a header on a corner kick by Kyle Trainor.

Matawan 1, Holmdel 0 (OT)

Jacob Labinger headed in a long cross from Bobby Johns in the sixth minute of overtime and the Huskies beat the Hornets for the second time this season.

Holmdel goalkeeper Jack Murray made two key saves within a minute of one another late in the second half to preserve the scoreless time. The first was a save on a shot by Labinger from 18 out in the 74th and Murray saved a breakaway attempt by Johns in the 75th.

No. 4 Toms River South 2, Jackson Memorial 0

Dylan Parks assisted a goal by Clem Slavik in the first half and scored on a pass from Tyler Egnatuk in the second half as the Indians turned back the Jaguars for the second time this season.

 

Class B North

Long Branch 6, Red Bank Catholic 0

Venancio Fernandes scored two goals and Gabe Viera added a goal and two assists to lead the Green Wave to a win over the Caseys. Alex Tabisz and Renan Acevedo each chipped in a goal and an assist, while Jimmy Caruso scored the other Long Branch goal.

No. 5 Ocean 2, Monmouth 1 (OT)

Santieno Harding scored the golden goal with 3:01 left in the second overtime period and the Spartans rallied for a win over the Falcons. Erick Vasquez fed the ball to Handing, who dribbled past multiple defenders and popped a shot into the goal.

James Schutz pulled Ocean even in the 61st minute with a shot inside the far post from the corner of the 18-yard box. Joel Burgos scored the Monmouth goal in the 29th, taking a pass from Brian Walsak on a free kick and breaking free of the Ocean defense before finishing.

 

Non-Division

No. 2 Marlboro 4, Rumson-Fair Haven 1

Four Mustangs scored a goal and Marlboro rolled to a win over the Bulldogs for their eighth straight victory. P.J. Ringel, Jared Markowitz, Varazdat Tapuzyan and Jacob Grine accounted for the goals and Steven Karp assisted on two of them.

Wall 4, Red Bank 1

Dan Frisch-Harmon scored twice in the first 15 minutes and the Crimson Knights never looked back in a win over the Bucs, who entered on a four-game unbeaten streak. The win was the fifth straight for Wall after the team started the season 1-3-2.

Kevin Kile and John Volpe each added a goal in the second half for Wall and Raul Rodreguiez scored the Red Bank goal, which cut Wall's lead to 2-1 in the 23rd minute.
