It took a year to rebuild, but the Rumson-Fair Haven boys soccer team is once again the king of Class A Central.

Senior Jamie Martin scored two goals and assisted another as the Bulldogs (11-0, 9-0) shut out St. John Vianney (4-7, 3-6) for their 11th straight win to start the season. With the win, plus Manasquan's draw against Holmdel, Rumson clinches the outright Shore Conference Class A Central title, its second in three years and first outright division title since 2008.

After going 19-3-1 and reaching the finals of both the Shore Conference and NJSIAA Central Jersey Group II Tournaments in coach Will Gould's first season at the helm, the Bulldogs graduated 17 seniors and finished 2014 with a 5-13-3 record.

Junior Nick Calabrese added a goal and sophomore Anthony Paolantonio capped the scoring with his first varsity goal. Seniors Matt Maisto, Peter Halliday and Ben Cooper all added an assist in the win.

Junior Markar Krikorian nailed down his third shutout of the season, all of which have come over the last four games.
