Dan Frisch-Harmon scored in the 10th minute off a long pass down the middle of the field by Nick Surgent and the Crimson Knights and goalkeeper Nolan Cloney made it hold up in a win over the Lions. Since starting the season 1-3-2, Wall has won six straight.
Manasquan 3, Middletown South 0
Dan Del Guercio assisted goals by Aaron Kocienski and Dulio Guerrero and the Warriors beat the Eagles for their sixth straight win. Kocienski scored on a rocket from 20 yards away to open the scoring in the 12th minute, while Guerrero capped the scoring in the second half.
Chris Capone scored the second Manasquan goal by slamming in a cross from Logan Roddy.
Class B South
Donovan Catholic 2, Manchester 0
Kevin Dillon cashed in a penalty kick in the first minute of action and Oliver Nora scored on a pass from Jon Michael Pereira in the 17th to pace the Griffins to a win over the Hawks.
Red Bank Catholic 2, Mater Dei Prep 0
Christian Simoes scored a goal and assisted the other RBC score by Andrew Nichols as the Caseys topped the Seraphs for their first win of the season.
Point Boro 2, Point Beach 1
Matt Kimak scored the tiebreaking goal after assisting one by Mariano Maradiegue and the Panthers held on to beat the crosstown neighbor Garnet Gulls. Kimak's header off a pass by Jacob Kirinovic gave Point Boro the lead in the 35th minute after Mike Ciorlian pulled Point Beach even in the 30th off a feed from Ki Costa.
Southern 2, Lacey 1 (OT)
Joe Kiernan scored the equalizer 54 seconds into the second half and won the game with a golden goal 24 seconds into the first overtime to lead the Rams to a win over the Lions. Dylan Blauvelt assisted the first goal by Kiernan and Ethan Leming set up the winner in overtime. Jason Bassford scored to put Lacey on top in the first half.
