Class A South

No. 3 Toms River North 4, Brick Memorial 0

Senior Ali Baish assisted goals by juniors David Anderson and A.J. Emnace and scored one of his own to lead the Mariners (9-0, 9-0) past the Mustangs (2-5-2, 2-5-2) for their ninth straight win.

Anderson gave Toms River North a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute and Baish scored 16 seconds before halftime off a set-up from senior Jack Montanile. Emnace made it 3-0 in the fourth minute of the second half and senior Cian Scott capped the scoring with a goal in the final minute off a pass from junior Will Buono.

Class B Central

St. Rose 7, Henry Hudson 0

Junior Kyle Corrigan scored two goals and the Purple Roes (7-1, 6-0) handled the Admirals (1-7, 1-7) to move into a first-place tie with Ranney in Class B Central.

Junior Luke Hammil added a goal and two assists and senior Matt Kirkpatrick contributed a goal and an assist for St. Rose. James Vitale also scored a goal and freshmen Andrew Restiano and Matthew Alexis each pitched in a goal in the win.

Asbury Park 4, Keyport 1

Senior Jean Roody Salomon scored two goals and the Blue Bishops (4-2, 4-2) put away the Red Raiders (0-7, 0-7). Seniors Jaquan Lunsford and Woodley Cagilus each added a goal for Asbury Park, while Josh Dyswonyk scored the Keyport goal.

 

Class B South

Lacey 1, Barnegat 0

Senior George-Kyle Hernandez knocked in a cross from junior Bryan Cardoso midway through the first half and the Lions (6-2-1, 6-2-1) held on to beat the Bengals (0-7-1, 0-7-1) to get back in the win column followed a two-loss week vs. Pinelands.
