Shore Conference Tournament
(1) Manasquan 15, (16) Howell 0
Junior midfielder Matt Schneider scored three times and added two assists for a career-high five points as the Warriors (11-1) ran past the Rebels (6-10) to advance to the SCT quarterfinals.
Senior midfielder Brody Muly recorded a hat trick, junior attackman Ryan Aldi posted two goals and two assists, and senior midfielder Nick Carabetta tallied two goals and one assist. Junior midfielder Pat Frost scored once while sophomore defenseman Julian Fisher and senior defenseman Ryan Mulvaney each scored their first varsity goal.
Senior goalie Nick Bounassi (4 saves), junior goalie Pat Loxley (3 saves), and junior goalie Cooper Daley (2 saves) combined to record the shutout.
Manasquan will host eighth-seeded Manalapan on Tuesday in the quarterfinals.
(2) Rumson-Fair Haven 17, (15) Middletown North 2
Senior attackman Jake Cahill popped for a career-high six goals to lead the three-time defending SCT champion Bulldogs (12-3) to a dominant first-round victory over the Lions (10-4).
Rumson led 7-0 after the first quarter and 9-2 at halftime.
Junior midfielder Grayson Goldin delivered a game-high seven points on four goals and three assists, senior midfielder DJ Devine struck for two goals and one assist, and senior FOGO Luke Marascio won 16 of 20 at the face-off X.
Sophomore attackman Luke Lydon contributed a goal and an assist while senior midfielder Henry Maas scored his first varsity goal and senior midfielder Leo Passalaqua, senior defenseman Brody Page, and junior defenseman Frank Argilagos also scored once. Senior attackman Matthew Casazza dished out three assists.
Freshman goalie Seamus Gordman (1 save) got the start and junior Mickey Walker (1 save) and senior Max McCarty also saw time between the pipes.
Rumson will host seventh-seeded Red Bank on Tuesday in the quarterfinals.
(3) CBA 16, (15) Jackson Memorial 3
Senior attackman Ryan Martin tallied a season-high eight points on three goals and five assists and senior attackman James Crowley posted career-highs of three goals, two assists, and five points as the Colts (13-5) rolled to a first-round victory over the Jaguars (6-8).
Senior attackman Roman DeCenzo recorded his first career hat trick while senior midfielders Cole McManus and Jack Jaenicke and sophomore attackman Jack Kelly each scored their first varsity goal. Senior midfielder Cameron D'Alterio added two goals and one assist and senior midfielder Padraig Quinn had a goal and two assists. Junior midfielder Hunter Kilpatrick also scored once and senior midfielder Jack Santos sent out two assists.
Senior goalie Brandon Desena made six saves.
CBA will host sixth-seeded Shore Regional on Tuesday in the quarterfinals.
(4) Holmdel 17, (13) Donovan Catholic 5
Junior attackman Brian Volpe erupted for a career-high seven goals and four assists for 11 points and senior midfielder Will Gilfillan became the program's all-time leader in points to send the Hornets (11-4) past the Griffins (10-3) in the opening round.
Gilfillan's four goals and three assists put him at 280 career points (131 goals, 149 assists). He has 37 goals and 59 assists this season.
Sophomore midfielder Jack Cannon added two goals and two assists, sophomore attackman Finn Buchan scored twice, senior midfielder Gary Collyer had a goal and an assist, and senior midfielder Greg Linsalata scored once. Senior LSM Matt Tempone assisted on three goals and junior FOGO Jack Powers won 20 of 23 face-offs.
Sophomore goalie Jack Tiller (2 saves) and senior goalie Casey Dowd (4 saves) split time in goal.
Holmdel led 8-1 after the first quarter and 13-1 at halftime.
Senior attackman Jack Farlekas led Donovan Catholic with two goals and one assist. Senior midfielder Andrew Baltus had a goal and an assist while sophomore defenseman Jayden Nascimento and junior midfielder Teague Hibbard each scored once. Sophomore goalie Jack Barone made six saves.
Holmdel will host fifth-seeded Wall on Tuesday in the quarterfinals.
(5) Wall 16, (12) Middletown South 11
Senior midfielder Shea Brennan scored twice to reach 100 career goals and added four assists as the Crimson Knights (4-9) won a shootout with the Eagles (6-8) to advance to the quarterfinals.
Brennan now has 101 career goals and 174 career points.
Sophomore attackman Wyatt Capro scored a team-high six goals and added two assists while sophomore midfielder Patrick Freud totaled four goals and two assists. Senior midfielder Will Madden tallied two goals and three assists and junior attackman Jackson Lemongelli scored once. Senior goalie Lucas Seelinger made 11 saves.
Senior defenseman Owen Richter continued his incredible offensive season with a career-high six goals to lead Middletown South. Richter has 27 goals on the season and has scored goals in 12 of 14 games, including 14 in his last four games. Senior attackman Logan Bailin had three goals and three assists, senior Jake Sawyer had two goals and one assist, sophomore Leo Jacinto had a career-high five assists, and senior goalie Sean Burns made 14 saves.
Wall will travel to fourth-seeded Holmdel on Tuesday for a quarterfinal game.
(6) Shore 14, (11) Point Boro 3
Senior attackman Carson Spallone and junior midfielders Tucker Malfa and Lukas Villa each posted five points and senior goalie Noah Karaban made his 200th career save to steer the Blue Devils (10-4) past the Panthers (12-3) and into the quarterfinals.
Villa notched a game-high four goals plus one assist while Malfa and Spallone had three goals and two assists each. Sophomore attackman Reid Spallone delivered a hat trick and senior attackman Brady Cooke had a goal and two assists. Karaban finished with nine saves and junior Brendan O'Brien won 14 of 20 face-offs and picked up 10 ground balls.
Senior midfielders Matt Woit, Gavin Reid, and Robert Trapanese each scored once and senior goalie Colin Cole made 15 saves for Point Boro, which lost for the first time since April 13 to snap a 10-game winning streak.
Shore will travel to Lincroft to face third-seeded CBA on Tuesday.
(7) Red Bank 12 (10) Red Bank Catholic 6
Sophomore attackman Gabe Pape scored four goals and added one assist and senior midfielder Andrew Pape tallied three goals and three assists to power the Bucs (7-8) to a victory over the Caseys (6-11) in the opening round.
Red Bank led 7-3 at halftime.
Senior Finn Tierney and sophomore midfielder Ryan Deverin had two goals and one assist each and freshman Justin Valentino had a goal and an assist. Senior goalie Kyle Borenius made nine saves.
Sophomore midfielder Frank Tackett delivered a hat trick and senior midfielder Brian Vecchio scored a goal, went 16-for-22 on face-offs, and picked up 12 ground balls. Senior attackman Peter Villare had a goal and an assist, freshman midfielder Jack Denver scored once, and senior goalie Gianvito Viola made 14 saves.
Red Bank will head up Ridge Road on Tuesday to face second-seeded Rumson-Fair Haven in the quarterfinals.
(8) Manalapan 7, (9) Toms River East 4
Senior midfielder Anthony Macchio scored twice and assisted on another, senior attackman Christian Zdziarski scored twice, and sophomore goalie Connor Doel made 11 saves as the Braves (11-3) controlled the second half to down the Raiders (9-5) and earn the first SCT win in program history.
The game was tied 2-2 at halftime.
Junior midfielder Matt Avivi had a goal and two assists, senior midfielder Marc Stefanelli had a goal and an assist, and senior attackman Michael Bonner scored once. Junior midfielder Jake Piedrahita went 8-for-13 on face-offs.
Senior midfielder Nate Cummings had a goal and an assist, senior attackman Patrick Hinkson, junior midfielders Tyler Godlesky and Ethan Kelly each scored once, and freshman goalie Ryan Caruso made eight saves for Toms River East.
Manalapan will face top-seeded Manasquan on Tuesday.
Coaches Cup
Freehold Township 16, Marlboro 9
Senior midfielder Nick Carnevale exploded for a career-high nine goals and added one assist to power the Patriots (8-7) past the Mustangs (3-13).
Senior attackman Nolan Thompson registered five goals and one assist, senior defenseman Landon Szymanski had a goal and an assist, junior midfielder Ryan Rowolt scored once, and junior Ryan Rutt recorded his first varsity points with two assists. Junior goalie Junior Alvarado made six saves and sophomore goalie Josh Lubin made nine saves.
Freehold Township will play Colts Neck in the quarterfinals on Monday.
St. John Vianney 17, Brick 5
Senior Colin Bradley went off for seven goals and two assists and sophomore midfielder Max Menkowitz had a goal, five assists, and went 23-for-24 on face-offs to spark the Lancers (9-6) to an emphatic win over the Dragons (5-10) to advance to the Coaches Cup quarterfinals.
Senior William Keegan added four goals and four assists, freshman midfielder Ethan Hunter delivered three goals and one assist, senior Khush Mehta had a goal and two assists, and junior Blake Hawthorn scored once. Sophomore goalie Cameron Esposito made eight saves.

Senior midfielder Anthony Arch sank two goals and assisted on three more to reach 100 career points and lead the Rams (9-6) to a comeback win over the Knights (10-7).
Old Bridge led 5-4 heading into the fourth quarter.
Freshman Kyle Sininsky had two goals and two assists, junior Liam Griffin had a goal and two assists, and senior Konnor Forlai and freshman Cash McVey each scored once. Junior AJ Mattern and senior Nick Roesch split time in goal and made three saves each.
Toms River North 6, North Brunswick 5
Junior Ben Misa tallied two goals and two assists and junior Cooper Lachowicz totaled two goals and one assist to lead the Mariners (4-10) past the Raiders (5-9).
Junior midfielder Robert Wingender had a goal and two assists and senior attackman Anthony Sperato scored once. Junior goalie C harlie Machamer (8 saves) and sophomore goalie James Mauti (3 saves) split time in goal.
