CLASS A NORTH

No. 2 CBA 16, Marlboro 0

Freshman attackman Dan Martin sank four goals with one assist and junior midfielder Mason Rudolph added a hat trick as the Colts (9-0, 5-0) blanked the Mustangs (0-10, 0-6). CBA is now the only undefeated team in the Shore Conference.

Connor Macrae tallied one goal and two assists, Chris Romano had three assists and Luke Valentino, Michael Carroll and Dylan Johnston each had one goal and one assist. Chris Junquet, Kevin Junquet, Patrick Gotterup, Kyle Aldridge and Hunter Connellan each scored once.

 

No. 10 Middletown South 9, No. 3 Freehold Township 8

Connor Ard struck for five goals with one assist and Shane Murphy made 13 saves as the newly-ranked Eagles (10-2, 4-1) picked up a signature win by taking down the Patriots (7-2, 3-2).

Dan Rossi added two goals and one assist, Jason Allen had one goal and one assist and Matt Fallon scored once. Chris Lucyk had two assists and Matt Ferrigno had one assist. Ard also collected six ground balls.

CLASS A SOUTH

No. 4 Southern 6, Toms River North 2

 

Brick 14, Jackson Memorial 7

Richie Cosgrove tallied three goals and two assists and Will Swiderski and Nick D'Eufemia also had hat tricks to lead the Dragons (6-4, 3-1) past the Jaguars (6-4, 2-2). James Rea added two goals and two assists, Sean Rea scored twice and J.T. Carey had one goal. Justin Iannarone had a monster day on face-offs by going 22-for-25.

 

Toms River East 10, Brick Memorial 4

Salvatore Esposito delivered five goals and one assist and Evan Otten had two goals and three assists to power the Raiders (6-2, 2-1) to a win over the Mustangs (3-7, 0-4).

Kohler Wagner added one goal and one assist, Alex Smith and Ryan McIntire scored one goal each and Tyber Budrow made 12 saves. Anthony Marinelli picked up a game-high 10 ground balls.

Jared Crippen and Dawson Heath each scored twice for Brick Memorial.

 

CLASS B NORTH

No. 6 Rumson-Fair Haven 16, St. John Vianney 6

Sophomore midfielder Kiel Forlenza scored four goals and senior attackman Wyatt Feinberg had a hat trick plus one assist as the Bulldogs (6-6, 6-0) ran past the Lancers (4-6, 2-3).

Jack Whitelaw, Billy Garavente and Drew Shaw each scored twice while sophomore goalie Doug Duprey made 15 saves. Rowan Goldin added a goal and an assist and Kurt Bruckman and Sam Mannino scored once.

Rumson's win clinched at least a share of the Class B North division title. Per Shore Conference rules, the division crown means Rumson gains an automatic berth into the Shore Conference Tournament regardless of the team's record after the April 30 cutoff.

 

No. 7 Shore 17, Long Branch 0

Senior attackman Ryan Morris scored three goals and added two assists to reach 100 career goals and junior midfielder Gil Goldsmith also reached 100 career goals by tallying two goals and two assists as the Blue Devils (9-2, 3-1) cruised past the Green Wave (1-11, 0-5).

Jake Turner had two goals and two assists, Tom Bocco had two goals and one assist and Nick Crochet and Justin Murphy also scored twice. Jack McCrae had a goal and three assists while Matt O'Donnell, Terry Carlstrom and Sean O'brien scored once each. Scott Sirianni had three saves and Chris Krousos had two saves.

Keith Dement made eight saves for Long Branch.

 

No. 8 Holmdel 7, Red Bank Catholic 6

Senior attackman Jack Kapcsos, a former Red Bank Catholic player, returned to Count Basie Field and scored four goals to lead Holmdel (7-4, 2-2) to a victory over the Caseys (4-7, 2-3).

Justin Arredondo, Justin Cohen and Jake Preziose each scored once, Nick Tuccillo made 10 saves and Dan Tempone went 11-for-16 on face-offs with 10 ground balls and one assist for the Hornets.

Pat Brady had a hat trick to lead Red Bank Catholic. Kyle Boggio scored twice, Dom DiPiero had one goal and Jack Zenkert had two assists. Luke Gueci picked up a game-high 11 ground balls.

 

Ocean 9, Red Bank 6

 

CLASS B SOUTH

No. 5 Wall 17, Point Boro 1

Senior attackman Tim O'Hern erupted for seven goals and two assists and senior attackman Mike McIntyre added five goals and two assists for the Crimson Knights (10-2, 5-1) in their victory over the Panthers (3-9, 0-4).

Kyle Peters scored twice, Will Forte had a goal and two assists and Ryan Brice and James Plisky had one goal apiece. Jack Textor had three assists to reach 100 career points. Sean DeMott made seven saves and John Knight picked up 10 ground balls.

Ben Williams scored and Parker Roncin made 14 saves for Point Boro.
