CLASS A NORTH

No. 3 Freehold Township 16, Neptune 5

Senior attackman Matt Graybush scored three goals and added two assists and senior attackman Chris Novella also had a hat trick to lead the Patriots (8-2) past the Scarlet Fliers (2-7).

Brendan Doel added two goals and four assists and Jake Liebross and Brian Schirripa each scored twice. Matt Kondrup had one goal and one assist, Ryan O'Donoghue scored once and Nick Elimanco had two assists. Aidan Purcell made two saves and Billy Patten made four saves.

Nick Brown and Jahi Neely each had two goals and one assist for Neptune. Ryan Gannon scored once and Seamus McAnee made seven saves.

 

CLASS B NORTH

No. 7 Shore 15, St. John Vianney 7

Junior midfielder Gil Goldsmith reached a major milestone by scoring three goals and dishing out five assists to reach 200 career points and lead the Blue Devils (10-2) past the Lancers (4-7).

Ryan Morris also had a big game with three goals and four assists while Jake Turner had three goals and one assist. Jack McCrae, Tom Bocco and Justin Murphy each scored twice and Scott Sirianni made 11 saves to earn the win.

Anthony Brett and Nick Peckyno each scored twice and Mike D'Anzeri, Andrew Gosse and Andrew Gentile had one goal apiece. C.J. Hanson made seven saves.

 

No. 8 Holmdel 14, Long Branch 1

 

CLASS B SOUTH

No. 1 Manasquan 19, Point Boro 2

Junior attackman Canyon Birch tallied five goals and three assists to eclipse 90 points this season while linemate Ryan Anderson had four goals and four assists to lead the Warriors (10-2) to a bounce-back win over the Panthers.

Casey Campbell had a hat trick, Mike Cielecki had two goals and one assist and James McElduff had one goal and one assist. Mike Farinacci, Matt Franzoni, James Mele and Casey Mulligan each scored once. Mike LaPoint made three saves to earn the win and Nick Vitale made four saves.

Colby Biggs and Liam Connelly scored for Point Boro and Parker Roncin made nine saves.

 

St. Rose 14, Lacey 10

The Purple Roses (5-8) used a 6-1 run in the third quarter to open up an eight-goal lead on their way to defeating the Lions (5-4). Senior attackman Shane Reilly scored seven goals and had one assist and Mike Kinsel scored twice to lead the way offensively, while Brendan Perry made 12 saves.

Nolan Boehmcke, Spencer Flynn and P.J. Dwyer each had one goal and one assist and P.J. Keegan and Brendan Dwyer each scored once. Logan LeMoult had two assists.

Dylan Vitale scored four goals and JoeCarlo Chimenti had three goals and one assist to lead Lacey. Dom Waltonowski had one goal and one assist, Clayton Humcke and Brett Spafford scored once and Justin Covey made 10 saves.

 

Jackson Liberty 16, Donovan Catholic 3

Senior midfielder Max Matthies had a career day with eight goals and one assist and Tom Ferullo tallied two goals and five assists to lead the way for the Lions in their win over the Griffins.

Nick Labianca had a hat trick and Jake Bosco,  Joe Granza and Brendan Sheerin each notched a goal and an assist. Zach D'Andrea went 10-for-18 on face-offs, Sean Reid made seven saves and Chris Longo made six saves.

William Duddy scored twice and Trevor Barber scored once for Donovan Catholic.

 

NONCONFERENCE

No. 6 Rumson-Fair Haven 12, Concord-Carlisle (MA) 11

Junior midfielder Harry Ricker scored off a pass from senior attackman Wyatt Feinberg in the first overtime period to lift the Bulldogs (8-6) to a dramatic victory over the Patriots (8-6) at the Connecticut Sportsplex.

Ricker finished with one goal and one assist while Feinberg scored twice. Jack Whitelaw had a team-high three goals, Matt Garvey had two goals and one assist and Kiel Forlenza also scored twice. Drew Shaw had one goal and Doug Duprey made eight saves.

 

No. 10 Middletown South 11, Wardlaw-Hartridge 1

Carter Lenhard, Aidan Kane and Dan Rossi each scored twice to lead the Eagles (11-2) past the Rams (6-4) for their eighth straight win.

Jason Allen, Matt Ferrigno, Jack Hutson, Matt Tardy and Tyler Wishniewski each scored once and Jake Krellin and Kenny McCarthy each had two assists.

 

Middletown North 5, New Egypt 1

Pete Abbes had two goals and one assist and John Miranda also scored twice as the Lions (6-6) topped the Warriors. Quinn Aker added one goal and two assists and Alec Zenker went 8-for-9 on face-offs.

 

Mater Dei 14, Newark East Side 4

Chris Napoli sank four goals and added two assists and Kajell Whyte made 14 saves as the Seraphs (4-6) defeated the Red Raiders (1-11). Gavin Toth had three goals and one assist and Jack Torpey also scored three goals. Nolan Aloia scored twice, Marc Greenstein had one goal and one assist and Izaiah Henderson scored once.
