CLASS B SOUTH

No. 1 Manasquan 17, Donovan Catholic 0 

Canyon Birch scored seven goals and added two assists and Ryan Anderson had a goal and six assists to lead the Warriors (9-0) past the Griffins (1-7).

Casey Mulligan tallied three goals and two assists, James McElduff had two goals and one assist and Mike LaPoint made two saves to record his second straight shutout. Trey Brehm, Reilly Callahan, Casey Campbell and James Mele each scored once.

 

Lacey 15, Jackson Liberty 10

Senior attackman JoeCarlo Chimenti scored four goals and added three assists and senior goalie Justin Covey made a whopping 21 saves to steer Lacey (5-3) past Jackson Liberty (3-7).

Chris Augustine tallied three goals and three assists, Dom Waltonowski had three goals and two assists, Eric Green scored twice and Dylan Vitale had one goal and one assist.

Tom Ferullo and Nick Labianca each had three goals and one assist to lead Jackson Liberty. Matt McKelvey scored twice, Max Matthies had a goal and an assist and Brendan Sheerin scored once. Sean Reid made 15 saves.

 

NONDIVISIONAL

No. 3 Freehold Township 6, St. John Vianney 4

Senior attackman Chris Novella scored four goals and junior goalie Aidan Purcell made four saves as Patriots (7-1) won a tight battle with the Lancers (4-5) in Holmdel. Matt Graybush and Nick Reardon scored one goal each and Matt Kondrup and Mike Farrell had one assist each.

Mike D'Anzeri scored twice and C.J. Hanson had 11 saves for St. John Vianney. Anthony Brett had one goal and one assist and Nick Peckyno scored once.

 

No. 4 Southern 12, Red Bank 4

Cade Johnson scored a career-high five goals and Luke Maul made seven saves to power the Rams (7-1) in their victory over the Bucs (3-8).

Ajani Steverson scored twice, Aniello Russo had a goal and two assists and Ryan Comfort had a goal and one assist. Ryan McWhorter, Ben LoParo and Nick Stankus each scored.

Seamus Cochrane had a hat trick, Dean Hottman scored once and Matt Gibson made 12 saves for Red Bank.

 

No. 5 Wall 16, Brick 5

 

Colts Neck 15, No. 8 Jackson Memorial 11 

The Cougars (3-6) used a five-goal run in the third quarter to overtake the Jaguars (6-3) and knock off the No. 8 team in the SSN Top 10. Nick Lago led the way with four goals and one assist while Nick Giantasio had three goals and one assist and Brandon Cifone made 15 saves.

Zack Alagna added two goals and two assists, Anastagio Muscara had two goals and one assist and Tyler Thomsen also scored twice. Dan SanFillippo had one goal and one assist and Mike Deissler scored once.

 

No. 9 Ocean 15, Barnegat 2

Holden Lowe tallied nine points with five goals and four assists and Mike Nies had four goals and one assist to power the Spartans (7-2) past the Bengals (0-9).

Hyatt Lowe added two goals and one assist, A.J. Roebuck had two goals, Dale Alto had one goal and one assist and Jack Nies scored once. Brian Fisher had two assists.

 

No. 10 Shore 9, St. Rose 4

Junior midfielder Gil Goldsmith had another big game with three goals and three assists while Tom Bocco also scored three times to lead the Blue Devils (8-2) past the Purple Roses (3-7).

Ryan Morris added two goals and one assist, Jack McCrae scored once and Scott Sirianni made nine saves.

Senior attackman Shane Reilly scored his 100th career goal for St. Rose. Spencer Flynn, Mike Kinsel and P.J. Dwyer also scored once and Brendan Perry made six saves.

 

Brick Memorial 14, Marlboro 3

Senior attackman Joey Ferrara scored five goals and added two assists to become Brick Memorial's all-time leading scorer and lead the way in a win over Marlboro (0-9). Ferrara now has 78 career goals.

Dawson Heath added two goals and two assists and Chris Marks each tallied two goals and one assist. Jared Crippen and Matt Ingenito had one goal and one assist each and Luke Vojtko scored his first career goal. Jake White made 11 saves.

 

Toms River East 7, Middletown North 2

Salvatore Esposito and Evan Otten each scored twice and Matt Gannon had a goal and three assists to lead the Raiders (5-2) to a victory over the Lions (5-5). Louie Gallo IV and Kohler Wagner each scored once and Tyler Budrow made 12 saves.

Pete Abbes had a goal and an assist and Zach Fleming scored his first goal as a Lions after transferring from Red Bank Catholic.

 

Middletown South 10, Point Boro 4

Dan Rossi and Matt Tardy each scored twice and Shane Murphy made eight saves to lead the Eagles (9-2) past the Panthers (3-8).

Jason Allen, Matt Ferrigno, Chris Lucyk, Aidan McCann, Kenny McCarthy and Tyler Wishnewski each scored once and Matt Fallon had two assists.
