Senior attackman Cole Smolokoff went off with eight goals to lead the Bucs (4-4, 2-1) to the upset victory over the rival Caseys (3-3, 1-1).

Senior midfielder Brian Fagan added four goals and two assists and fellow senior middie Ryan Gilmartin had one goal and two assists. Senior goalie Jon Pierce made nine saves. Senior midfielder Jon Doherty added one goal and one assist.

 

CLASS B SOUTH

No. 2 Manasquan 14, Jackson Liberty 2

Freshman attackman Canyon Birch scored five times and junior attackman Jarrett Birch had three goals and one assist as the Warriors (7-0, 1-0) rolled to victory over the Lions (3-4, 0-2).

Junior midfielder Pat Felstedt scored twice with one assist and junior goalie Tom Pollock made nine saves.

Tyler Kalmowitz and Max Matthies had goals for Jackson Liberty, while Chris Mulholland made 19 saves.

 

NONCONFERENCE

Gloucester Catholic 12, Holmdel 2

Frank Entwistle and Jack Cook had goals and Mike Lubrano made 10 saves for the Hornets (1-6) in a road loss to the Rams (4-3).

 

Bergen Tech 14, Long Branch 3

Ygor Da Silva scored twice for the Green Wave (0-7) in a home defeat the the Knights (1-8).

 

New Egypt 13, Donovan Catholic 12 (3OT)
