Boys Basketball – VOTE: I’m Possible Dunk Contest Contestants
The Shore Conference Senior All-Star Game is one week away, which means it's time to assemble the top dunkers around for the third annual I'm Possible Slam Dunk Contest. The competition will take place at halftime of the boys Senior All-Star game on March 21 at RWJ Barnabas Health Arena, which tips at 7:45 p.m.
Two-time defending champion Scottie Lewis is locked in to defend his title and returns not only with two Shore dunk titles, but another one from the prestigious City of Palms in December as well.
To find the five challengers to Lewis, we need your help. Below are 12 of the top high-fliers in the Shore Conference with some video to help you get to know a number of them. Scroll through the highlights, then vote for the five players you want to see in contest along with Lewis.
You can vote once per hour through the deadline, which is Sunday at 4 p.m. After the voting ends on Sunday, the participants will be finalized and announced on Monday, March 19.
To the Contestants and friends: want to sway the voters? Post video your dunks - either from games or on the side - on Twitter and/or Instagram with the hashtag #SSNDunk and tag basketball editor Matt Manley (@Matt_Manley on Twitter, matt.manley on Instagram) to give the readers a preview.
Without any further ado, here are the dirty dozen vying for five open spots.
Bryan Antoine, Ranney
Nasiem Brantley, Howell
Travis Holland, Toms River North
Jared Kimbrough, Neptune
