Middletown South 60, Manalapan 48 - Watch

Seniors Tom Brown and Joe Stanzione each scored 15 points and the Eagles (2-5) took down the Braves (1-4) on the road. Brown got Middletown South started with eight points in the first quarter and Stanzione caught fire with nine third-quarter points.

Senior Luke Albrecht added 12 points and sophomore Dylan Csik netted eight of his nine points in the second half for Middletown South.

Senior Anthony Mezzina led Manalapan with a game-high 19 points and junior Mike Bimonte added nine in the loss.

No. 10 Mater Dei Prep 75, Point Beach 56 - Watch

Senior David Shkolniy scored 17 points and the Seraphs (5-3) rolled to a win over the Garnet Gulls (2-4).

Seniors Lauwensky Astrel and Daryen Cabrera added 14 points each, senior Andreas Von Fricke poured in 10 and junior Derek Ragona chipped in nine for Mater Dei.

Junior Anthony Longo scored a game-high 21 points to lead Point Beach and sophomore Kevin Burns chipped in 16 in the loss.

No. 4 Marlboro 68, Freehold Boro 45 - Watch

Junior Jack Seidler scored 18 points and classmate Jon Spatola chipped in 17 as the Mustangs (4-3) shook off a cold first half to run away with a win over the Colonials (4-4).

Junior Zach Molod added 10 points for Marlboro, which trailed 27-18 early in the third quarter before racking up 50 points in the final 14 minutes.

Senior Jiasion Carpenter led Freehold Boro with 14 points, eight rebounds, two blocks and two steals.

Shore 58, Long Branch 41 - Watch

Senior Tyler Tilton put up 22 points and 13 rebounds and the Blue Devils (2-2) returned to action for the first time in 13 days by beating the Green Wave (0-6).

Sophomore Brett Sweeney added 10 points and freshman Alex George poured in nine for Shore.

No. 2 Ranney 46, St. Rose 36 - Watch

Sophomore Isaac Hester scored 22 points and six rebounds and the Panthers (7-0) battled past the Purple Roses (0-3) with Elijah Perkins unavailable to play.

Senior Kyle Rhoden added 13 points and nine rebounds for Ranney, while senior Frank DiNatale scored 10 points for St. Rose - playing its first game since Jan. 29 against Manasquan.

No. 3 CBA 54, Freehold Twp. 35 - Watch

Senior Colin Farrell scored 17 points and the Colts (6-2) hammered the Patriots (4-3) for their fourth straight win. Senior Dane Moran added 12 points for CBA, whose defense did not allow a single Freehold Township player to score more than five points.

Raritan 47, Colts Neck 44 - Watch

Junior Justin Rivera scored 13 points, including the go-ahead three-pointer with 40 seconds left to help the Rockets (4-4) edge the Cougars (3-5) on the road.

Sophomore Matt Agar added 10 points and classmate Jack Coleman helped put the game away by sinking two free throws with five seconds left.

Sophomore Will Surdez poured in a game-high 18 points to lead Colts Neck.

No. 5 Red Bank Catholic 66, Red Bank 50 - Watch

Juniors Cyril Arvanitis and C.J. Ruoff each scored 19 points and the Caseys (4-0) used a red-hot start to top the Bucs (0-5) in their first game since Feb. 3.

Arvanitis hit all three of his three-point attempts in the first quarter to help RBC race out to a 20-2 lead and Ruoff poured in 15 of his points in the first half, during which RBC outscored Red Bank, 34-17. Junior Alex Bauman also pitched in 11 points in all for Red Bank Catholic.

Senior Nick Ferrogine scored 15 of his 17 points for the game as well as 15 of his team's points in the first half on Red Bank's Senior Night. Senior Enoch Hutchinson added 11 points and fellow senior Matt Keegan pitched in 10 for Red Bank.

No. 1 Manasquan 72, No. 9 Wall 64 - Watch on SSN

Junior Ben Roy scored 29 points and the Warriors (4-0) outlasted the Crimson Knights (2-6) for their fourth straight win to open the season.

Senior Jack Collins added 22 points and classmate Connor Walsh poured in 11 for Manasquan, which trailed, 46-45, heading into the fourth quarter.

Senior Pat Lacey led Wall with 20 points, while senior Logan Peters poured in 19 and junior Colin Ackerman added 17 in the loss.

Brick 38, Brick Memorial 37 - Watch

Senior Ty Williams hit a driving shot at the buzzer and the Green Dragons (1-3) rallied to stun the Mustangs (4-4) for their first win of the season.

Williams tied the game with a baseline drive with 20 seconds to go before Brick Memorial senior Hayden Guzenski earned a trip to the free-throw line and hit the second of two shots to give the Mustangs the back, 37-36. Williams then dribbled the length of the floor and got off his scoop shot just before the final horn sounded.

Williams finished with 10 points, seven rebounds and five assists while junior Jack Dougard added 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead Brick.

Point Boro 55, Barnegat 43 - Watch

Junior Matt Lee scored a game-high 22 points and the Panthers (2-3) held off a furious rally by the Bengals (4-2).

Point Boro raced out to a 28-6 lead and led 28-12 at halftime before Barnegat stormed back to cut the Panthers lead to 37-35 heading into the fourth.

Sophomore Noah Knauf added 10 points and four steals while junior Colton MacGlashan posted eight points, 13 rebounds and three blocked shots for Point Boro. The Panthers also got all-around contributions from sophomore Steve Mellett (eight points, six rebounds) and junior Kai Messeroll (seven points, six rebounds and four assists)

Senior Tyler Quinn led Barnegat with 16 points on four three-pointers and senior Jaxon Baker added 10 in the loss. Quinn (two), Baker and senior Logan Amstrong (two) combined to hit seven three-pointers in the third-quarter rally.

Monmouth 44, No. 8 Rumson-Fair Haven 43 - Watch ($)

Seniors A.J. Po and Kiran Desai scored 12 points each and the Falcons (3-2) knocked off the Bulldogs (3-2) on the road.

Keansburg 63, Koinonia Academy 53

Senior Brendan Fanzbaum led four players in double-figure scoring with 17 points - including five three-pointers - and the Titans pulled out their second win of the season.

Senior Davon Jackson scored all 12 of his points in the second half, sophomore Mike Alonso chipped in 11 points and junior Andrew Valle added 10 for Brick.

Middletown North 66, Montgomery 59 - Watch

Junior Matt Kenny led four Middletown North players in double-figures with a game-high 20 points and the Lions (4-3) handed the Cougars (6-1) their first loss of the season. Montgomery had not won a game by fewer than 19 points and entered Tuesday with an average margin of victory of 30.3.

Junior Brian Haddow scored 10 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter, including 6-for-6 from the free-throw line to put the game away. Haddow also dished out four assists, while senior Vinny Pennino and junior Tommy Giannone each pitched in 13 points for Middletown North.
