Central 84, Lakewood 38 - Watch

Junior Justin Soranno led four Central players in double-figures with 21 points and the Golden Eagles (4-2) coasted by the Piners (0-5) with nine players entering the scoring column.

Senior I-Meer Johnson chipped in 18 points, freshman Miles Chevalier added 12 and senior Kwesi Bekou scored 11 for Central.

No. 10 Mater Dei Prep 78, Keansburg 38 - Watch

Senior David Shkolniy scored 21 points while knocking down five three-pointers and senior Daryen Cabrera added 18 points on four triples to lead the Seraphs (3-2) to a one-sided win over the Titans (1-4).

Colts Neck 65, Matawan 58 - Watch

Senior Steve Ciccarone led four Colts Neck players in double-figures with 18 points and the Cougars (2-3) held off the Huskies (2-3).

Senior Richie Lee added 17 points, junior Tommy Fallon poured in 13 and sophomore Will Surdez contributed 10 for Colts Neck, which stormed out to a 35-17 lead by halftime.

Senior Andre Wells led Matawan with a game-high 27 points, including 22 during Matawan's second-half surge to pull within single-digits. Wall added seven rebounds and seven assists, while senior Ian Richardson also netted 12 points in the loss.

Pinelands 51, Point Boro 48 (OT) - Watch

Senior Josh Kline capped his 20-point game with the go-ahead three-pointer and junior Rian O'Rourke scored five of his 10 points in overtime and the Wildcats (2-4) rallied from a 12-point first-half deficit to top the Panthers (0-2).

O'Rourke hit a go-ahead three-pointer to make it 46-45 and after Point Boro sophomore Steve Mellett answered with a three of his own, Kline responded with yet another three to put the Wildcats ahead, 49-48, with under a minute to play.

O'Rourke then extended the lead to three by hitting both ends of a one-and-one with four seconds left and Point Boro came up empty on its final shot.

Senior Andrew Jenkins added 13 to help spark the Wildcats rally. Junior Colton MacGlashan led a balanced Point Boro effort with 12 points, while junior Matt Lee added 11 and Mellett chipped in 10 in the loss.

Toms River South 64, Toms River East 55 - Watch

Junior Gavin Migliori scored 20 points and senior Gerry Ferrigno hauled in a whopping 29 rebounds to go with his six points and five assists as the Indians (3-3) outlasted the Raiders (0-4).

Senior John Huber also added 15 points and 10 rebounds for Toms River South.

Senior Zavier Kless led Toms River East with a game-high 23 points. Senior Charlie Monica poured in 17 and senior Dylan Hall added 10 in the loss.

Howell 52, Brick Memorial 50 (OT) - Watch

Junior Zach Emery scored the game-winning layup with 14.5 seconds left off a stolen inbound pass by junior Nick Gallo and the Rebels (4-1) pulled out an overtime thriller over the Mustangs (4-1).

Howell took a 39-28 lead into the fourth quarter, but Brick Memorial rallied to send the game into overtime, with sophomore Briant Starrett hitting a game-tying three-pointer with 10 seconds left in regulation.

Howell junior Dylan McVeigh gave his team a 49-47 lead with a three-point play before Mustangs senior Jake Dombrowski gave Brick Memorial a 50-49 lead with a three-pointer with 45 seconds to go.

McVeigh finished with a game-high 21 points to go with five assists, while Emery and senior Jake George each scored nine for Howell.

Sophomore Dorian Alston scored a team-high 11 points for Brick Memorial and gave his team a 47-46 lead with a layup prior to McVeigh's go-ahead three-point play at the other end.

Southern 47, Donovan Catholic 34 - Watch on SSN

Senior Luke Infurna led a balanced scoring effort with 14 points and the Rams (3-1) topped the Griffins (3-3) for their third straight win since losing to Toms River North on opening night.

Junior and Donovan Catholic transfer Jaden Anthony added 12 points in his first game back in his old home gym, while senior Jay Silva contributed 10.

Senior Amari Ayala-Petty led Donovan Catholic with 13 points.

Asbury Park 56, Point Beach 53 - Watch ($)

Sophomore Sha'Born Goodman scored the go-ahead basket with 43 seconds left and the Blue Bishops (5-1) rallied from an eight-point deficit with 3:45 left to beat the Garnet Gulls (1-3).

Senior Najier Massie stole an inbound pass under the basket and threw it up ahead to Goodman for the finish to make it 54-53. Goodman then stole the ball on the next possession to set up a layup by senior Mikai Brown-Jones in transition off another feed from Massie.

Brown-Jones scored a game-high 29 points and added nine rebounds, three steals and two blocks to lead Asbury Park. Brown-Jones also scored a basket as he was fouled to cut Point Beach's lead to 53-50 with 1:23 to play and sophomore Jai'Sun Brown (13 points and 10 rebounds) followed the missed free throw with a putback to cut the Garnet Gulls lead to 53-52.

Junior Andrew Laumbach led Point Beach with 12 points.

No. 3 Marlboro 75, Colonia 69 - Watch

Junior Jack Seidler scored a career-high 31 points and the Mustangs (2-1) overcame a 10-point deficit at the end of the first quarter to top the Patriots (4-1). Junior Jon Spatola also went off for 25 points for Marlboro.
