CBA 78, Brighton (Mass.) 54

Senior Jack Laffey scored a career-high 28 points and the Colts rolled to their second straight route at the Shooting Touch Shootout. Laffey also pulled in 11 rebounds, while Pat Andree added 22 points and 10 boards. Jack McGuire pitched in 12 points and Shaun Belbey handed out 12 assists for CBA.

 

Prime Time Shootout

At Trenton Catholic Academy

Lakewood 59, Bartram (Pa.) 54

Senior Ryan Lawrence hit six 3-pointers and scored 24 points to help lead the Piners to a win over Bartram and a championship in the Franz Messanat Bracket of the Primetime Shootout Holiday Tournament.

Tyreek Grayson also hit four 3-pointers and finished with 18 points, four assists and three steals.

At Rahway High School

Semifinals

Rahway 63, Point Beach 60

Four Point Beach players scored in double-figures, but the Indians pulled out a win over the Garnet Gulls to advance to the Butch Kowal final on Tuesday. Jimmy Panzini led Point Beach with 18 points, while Jesse Hill added 16. Mike Frauenheim chipped in 11 points and Mike Rice poured in 10 in the loss.

 

Mustang Invitational

At Mainland High School

Mainland 53, Barnegat 44

Nick Camarato scored a game-high 22 points and the Bengals took a one-point lead into the fourth quarter, but the hosts hit them with an 18-8 fourth-quarter run to close out a Mustang Invitational championship. Camarato was named to the all-tournament team.

 

Albert E. Martin Buc Classic

At Red Bank Regional

Semifinals

(3) Red Bank 68, (2) Shore 49

Anthony Mitchell poured in 21 points and Sadiq Palmer added 16 points and 11 rebounds as the Bucs led wire-to-wire and beat the Blue Devils to advance to the Buc Classic final for the first time since 2007. Jimmy Ferrogine also added 10 points off the bench for Red Bank, which scored the first 10 points of the game and led by as many as 24.

Senior Dan Largey scored 27 points for the second straight game in the Buc Classic and has scored 54 of the Blue Devils' 95 points over those two games.

Senior Dylan Frawley scored 16 points as the Lions fell to the defending Tournament of Champions winner. Junior Breein Tyree led the Falcons with 17 points in the win.

(6) Freehold 57, (7) Roselle 47

Junior Chris Hannigan scored 13 points and senior Josh Dixon added 12 to help the Colonials beat the Rams in the Buc Classic consolation round.
