Long Branch 58, Monmouth 52 - Watch

Junior Josiah Evans scored 24 points to go with 10 rebounds and five assists and the Green Wave (2-7) battled past the Falcons (3-5) in overtime to sweep the week in the two-game set between the teams.

Junior Christian Rodriguez poured in 17 points and dished out four assists, and sophomore Bruce Gooding netted 11 for Long Branch.

Colts Neck 66, Middletown North 63 - Watch

Senior Richie Lee poured in 27 points and the Cougars (4-6) held off a fourth-quarter charge from the Lions (5-5).

Sophomore Will Surdez added 13 points and junior Tommy Fallon added 12 for Colts Neck, which carried a 52-42 lead into the fourth quarter.

Senior Vinny Pennino scored 18 points to lead Middletown North, which hit five three-pointers during the fourth quarter to close the gap. Junior Tommy Giannone added 13 points, five rebounds and six assists and senior Alex Bogues put up 12 points, 11 rebounds and four assists for Middletown North.

Junior Matt Kenny also hit double-figures with 10 points and dished out four assists in the loss.

Red Bank 44, Shore 42 - Watch

Senior Nick Ferrogine scored 14 points and junior Patrick Murray added 11 to help lead the Bucs (2-6) to a tight win over the Blue Devils (2-5).

Senior Matt Keegan added nine points and classmate Bodhi Martin pitched in eight for Red Bank.

Seniors Tyler Tilton and John Smith each scored 13 points to lead Shore, which had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, but came up empty on two shot attempts.

No. 1 Manasquan 65, No. 6 Neptune 49 - Watch

Junior Ben Roy scored 27 points to go with seven rebounds and three assists and the Warriors (7-0) raced past the Scarlet Fliers (2-4) to stay unbeaten.

Senior Jack Collins added 10 points, six rebounds and three steals, junior Matt Solomon netted nine points and senior Andrew Solomon chipped in seven points and nine rebounds for Manasquan, which stormed out to a 31-8 lead by halftime.

Seniors Sam Fagan and Andre Harris each scored 13 points to lead Neptune.

No. 3 CBA 95, Manalapan 54 - Watch

Senior Mike White led an offensive onslaught with 26 points and the Colts (8-3) slammed the Braves (2-6) to complete a sweep of the week. Senior Dane Moran added 20 points, senior Colin Farrell poured in 13 and senior John Straley contributed 12 for CBA.

Senior Chris Frontera led Manalapan with 17 and junior Anthony Mezzina chipped in 14 in the loss.

No. 5 Red Bank Catholic 72, No. 9 Rumson-Fair Haven 54 - Watch

Freshman Gio Panzini scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds, junior Alex Bauman posted 19 points, 11 boards and seven assists and the Caseys (7-0) overwhelmed the Bulldogs (4-4) for the second time this week.

Panzini scored 13 of his points during a big second quarter and junior Cyril Arvanitis netted eight of his 14 points in the first.

Junior Scott Gyimesi led Rumson with 22 points and 13 rebounds.

St. John Vianney 66, Matawan 58 - Watch

Junior Nate Williams threw up 19 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals to lead the Lancers (5-4) to a win over the Huskies (6-4), salvaging a split with their neighbors in the series this week.

Junior Omar Calderon added 15 points and sophomore Connor Howard pitched in 13 points and seven rebounds for St. John Vianney.

Senior Andre Wells turned in 30 points, six rebounds and five assists to lead Matawan while senior Gio Gallo added 12 points on four three-pointers and sophomore Colin Haluska poured in 10 points in the loss.
