(2) CBA 50, (7) Neptune 47

Sophomore Pat Andree had a game-high 21 points and senior Evan Gordinier added 10 points off the bench to help the Colts (16-4) hold off the Scarlet Fliers (13-8) and advance to the semifinals.

Neptune senior guards Myles Mooney (20 points) and Shakeem Richardson (19 points) combined for 39 of Neptune's 47 points. Neptune had a chance to tie it on the final possession, but Mooney's 3-point attempt fading away from the corner was just short.

(3) Lakewood 44, (6) Long Branch 28

Senior guard Dan Niblack had 16 points and senior center Ben Watson had 10 points to help the defending SCT champion Piners (21-3) avenge an earlier loss to the Green Wave (14-7) and advance to face CBA at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday in the SCT semifinals at Brick Memorial.

Jamar Foster led Long Branch with 9 points in the loss.

(1) Point Beach 51, (9) Jackson Memorial 43 (2 OT)

Senior Matt Farrell scored 24 points despite battling second-half foul trouble and the Garnet Gulls survived a scare from the Jaguars to advance to the SCT semifinals for the third time in four years.

Jackson Memorial senior C.J. hit a game-tying 3-pointer as time expired in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime. Blue finished with 11 points and three 3-pointers, while Senior Eric Carter led Jackson with 16 points and eight rebounds.

Senior Noah Yates added 13 points, including five in the second overtime period. His three from the top of the key put Point Beach ahead 40-37, a lead the Gulls would not relinquish. Senior Dom Uhl scored nine points in the second overtime and finished with 14 points and eight rebounds.

(4) Matawan 46, (5) Manasquan 36

Juniors Jason Dunne and Joe Piscopo scored 15 points each and the Huskies beat the Warriors to advance to the SCT semifinals for the first time in a half-century. Piscopo led an 11-0 run to close the first half, scoring nine of the 11 points to put Matawan up 15-14 at the break.

Matawan ended the game on a 10-0 run, sparked by a basket by senior Nick Tomkins as he was fouled with just under two minutes left to make it 38-36. Manasquan senior Tommy Toole (11 points) had tied the game at 36 with two threes prior to Tomkins' lay-up.

Matawan will play top-seeded Point Beach in the semifinals on Wednesday, 6 p.m. at Brick Memorial.
