Freshman Dylan Seay scored 18 points, grabbed 20 rebounds and dished out four assists in his first high school game and the Lancers hammered the Raiders in the season-opener for both teams.

Junior Nate Williams added 18 points, sophomore Connor Howard had 11 points and six assists and junior Omar Calderon poured in 10 points.

Senior Charlie Monica led Toms River East with 14 points.

Junior D.J. Thomson scored a game-high 29 points and classmate George Mitchell added 17 to lead the Red Raiders (2-0) past the Panthers (1-1).

Patrick School 69, No. 10 Mater Dei Prep 42 - Watch Live

Senior David Shkolniy and junior Kyree Drake helped the Seraphs (0-2) hang around for the first half and change, but the Celtic Pride (2-0) pulled away with a dominant second half.

Shkolniy finished with 12 points and four assists - all four coming in the first half - while Drake scored eight of his 10 points in the first half.

Dionte Johnson led the Patrick School with a game-high 27 points and Zion Cruz poured in 16 in the win.
