No. 4 Southern 78, Toms River South 55
Junior Peyton Wejnert scored a career-high 39 points and the Rams (5-3, 2-2) rolled to a win over the Indians (3-4, 1-2). Senior Jake Logue also poured in 17 points for Southern, while senior Tymere Berry led Toms River South with 19 points.
No. 5 Toms River North 68, Toms River East 44
Evan Martin scored 14 points and Jordan Craig added 12 points and 11 rebounds as the Mariners (9-0, 4-0) beat the Raiders (3-4, 1-3) for their ninth straight win to open the season. Sophomore Darrion Carrington also chipped in 10 points and seven assists in the win.
Non-Division
Pinelands 76, Keansburg 34
Junior Luke Stambaugh scored a game-high 18 points on four 3-pointers and the Wildcats (5-3) stormed past the Titans (0-7). David Lunn and Mike Suarez each scored 11 points and Zach Wiatrowski chipped in 10 in the win.
Howell 37, Point Boro 35
Senior Will Kocsis scored on a putback as time expired and the Rebels (5-4) edged the Panthers (2-6) to match their win total from all of last season. Kocsis led Howell with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Gino Palummo added 12 points.
Allentown 67, St. John Vianney 61
Junior Zach Howarth, junior Grant Goode and senior John-Michael Broderick combined for 49 points but the Redbirds topped the Lancers (5-4) in a non-conference meeting. Howarth scored a game-high 21 points, while Goode poured in 17 and Broderick added 11.

Shore 58, Long Branch 36
Senior Dan Largey scored a game-high 25 points and the Blue Devils (6-2) pulled away to beat the Green Wave (0-7) in the first game of the Boardwalk showcase. Largey has now scored 20-plus points in seven of Shore's eight games this season.
Jack Byrne added 10 points in the win, while freshman Tyree Morris led Long Branch with 10.
No. 10 Neptune 50, No. 2 Lakewood 44
Sophomore Barry Brown scored a game-high 18 points to earn team MVP and the Scarlet Fliers (3-5) beat the previously unbeaten Piners (7-0) for their first win against a Shore Conference team this season. Senior Ryan Lawrence led Lakewood with 17 points to earn team MVP honors.
St. Anthony 60, No. 1 CBA 35
Pat Andree scored a game-high 17 points, but the Colts (6-3) were no match for the Friars (6-1) in the marquee match-up of the Boardwalk Showcase. Junior Taurean Thompson led St. Anthony with 13 points while Wichita State recruit Markis McDuffie and Marlboro resident Jagan Mosely each added 11.
Rumson-Fair Haven 57, No. 9 Point Beach 42
Junior Brendan Barry scored a Boardwalk Showcase record 34 points and the Bulldogs pulled away to beat the Garnet Gulls. Barry broke the previous high mark of 30, set by former St. Benedict's and Villanova star Corey Stokes in 2005.
No. 8 Manasquan 42, No. 7 Matawan 40
Luke O'Shaughnessy scored 15 points to earn MVP honors and lead the Warriors (8-1) to a win over the Huskies (4-4). Junior Jack Sheehan added 15 points in the win, including the go-ahead lay-up with a little more than two minutes left.
Matawan senior Jason Dunne scored a game-high 16 points, including the 1,000th of his career on a three-pointer in the third quarter.

Joe Strand scored 16 points and Eddie Tynion added 10, but the Rockets fell to the Raiders.
Panther Classic
At Ranney
Ranney 52, Calvary Christian 28
James Geraghty and Corey Natofsky scored 17 points each and Geraghty took MVP honors as the Panthers topped Calvary Christian. John Mejia chipped in eight points and Sam Metzger added six points and 10 rebounds.
