Manchester junior Shavar Reynolds led his team in scoring Tuesday night in a key Shore Conference Class B South road game at Donovan Catholic, but it was a pass he made that made the difference for the Hawks.

Senior forward Robert Planter scored the go-ahead basket off a feed from Reynolds with 15 seconds left and Manchester (5-2, 4-0) pulled out a 51-49 win over the Griffins to remain unbeaten in Class B South play. Reynolds finished with a team-high 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.

Junior Nakim Stokes knocked down one of two free throws in the final seconds to push the lead to two and Donovan Catholic (4-4, 2-3) senior James Fata came up empty on a potential game-winning three as time expired.

Junior Jordan Torney added 12 points and five assists for Manchester while junior Riley Collins led the Griffins with a game-high 19 points in the loss.
