Junior Alexx Harbour scored 23 points, but the Blue Bishops (3-2) fell to the Mustangs (4-3). Junior Jay-son Freeman added 15 points for Asbury Park.

Seventh Place

Thomas Foster scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, but the Rams (2-4) could not dig out of an early hole against the Irish (3-3). Junior Vinnie Deck added 12 points for Southern.

Michael Kane led Notre Dame with a game-high 33 points, including seven three-pointers.


Bulldawg Holiday Classic

At Rumson-Fair Haven

Barnegat 68, Fort Hamilton (N.Y.) 44

Senior Mike Revello scored 16 points, including the 1,000th of his high school career, to lead the Bengals (2-3) to a comfortable win over Fort Hamilton. Revello, who also handed out eight assists, is the first Barnegat boys player to ever reach the 1,000-point milestone.

Senior Carson Francisco added 13 points, six rebounds and three assists and senior Alex Grogan hit three three-pointers to finish with nine points. Sophomore Brendan Revello also pitched in 10 points off the bench for Barnegat.

St. Peter’s Prep 48, No. 3 Rumson-Fair Haven 43

Senior Jack Solano scored 13 of his 20 points in the second half, but the Marauders (4-1) pulled out a hard-fought road win over the Bulldogs (3-1) to cap the Bulldawg Holiday Classic.

Rumson outscored St. Peter's 15-3 in the third quarter to take a four-point lead into the fourth quarter, but the Pirates surged ahead in the fourth and put the game away at the free-throw line with a 9-for-12 showing during the quarter.

Jack Petite led the Marauders with a game-high 21 points, including 13 points in the first quarter and six in the fourth. Junior Ian O'Connor threw in 12 points for Rumson.

Holmdel 53, A.L. Johnson 50

Senior Tim Zhou scored 16 points to lead the Hornets (2-3)  to a consolation win over the Crusaders (3-2).


Monsignor Kelly Christmas Classic

No. 8 Point Beach 58, Irvington 55

Senior Danny Frauenheim scored 21 points to go with eight rebounds and seven assists as the Garnet Gulls (3-2) outlasted the Blue Knights (2-3) to win the consolation game at the Monsignor Kelly Classic.

Senior Josh Yates added 12 points and eight rebounds, senior Johnny Langeveld had eight points and 10 rebounds, and senior Trevor Covey poured in 11 points for Point Beach.

Raritan 52, Pinelands 49

Senior Zach Mojica scored 15 points and junior Rob Lavilla added 14 to lead the Rockets (3-3) to a consolation win over the Wildcats (2-4). Junior Andrew Schulz led Pinelands with a game-high 22 points and classmate Anthony Diaz added 17 in the loss.

Junior Shane Williams scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Green Dragons (5-1) over the host Falcons (3-2) to win the tournament championship. Junior Jalen Jackson chipped in 10 points and 10 assists for Brick.

Senior Nasiem Brantley scored 13 points and snatched seven rebounds to lead the Rebels (2-3) to a championship-clinching victory over New Dorp (8-4) at the Governor's Challenge.

Senior Alex Morton added 11 points, seniors Brandon Wilson and Dante Lanzetta each added eight and senior Eddie Morales pitched in seven points and seven rebounds for Howell.
