Ocean scored four unearned runs off Brick starter Tito Morales and Brian Kochenash and Kenny Pickett each added RBI extra-base hits as the Spartans backed up starter Jake Talarico in a win over the Green Dragons. Ocean will host No. 6 Nottingham in Friday's Central Jersey Group III championship game.

Pickett slammed an RBI double to the left-center gap in the bottom of the fifth to stretch the Ocean lead to 5-0 and Kochenash roped an RBI triple off the right-field fence in the second after Tyler Rossback reached on an error. The triple was the second of the game for Kochenash, whose first triple was his 50th hit of the season.

Talarico pitched into the seventh inning before surrendering a walk and a hit and giving way to Alec Keezer, who retired three straight batters.
