Ocean scored four unearned runs off Brick starter Tito Morales and Brian Kochenash and Kenny Pickett each added RBI extra-base hits as the Spartans backed up starter Jake Talarico in a win over the Green Dragons. Ocean will host No. 6 Nottingham in Friday's Central Jersey Group III championship game.
Pickett slammed an RBI double to the left-center gap in the bottom of the fifth to stretch the Ocean lead to 5-0 and Kochenash roped an RBI triple off the right-field fence in the second after Tyler Rossback reached on an error. The triple was the second of the game for Kochenash, whose first triple was his 50th hit of the season.
Talarico pitched into the seventh inning before surrendering a walk and a hit and giving way to Alec Keezer, who retired three straight batters.

Joe Castellucia broke up a no-hitter with a single in the top of the seventh, but Nick Houghton finished off a one-hit shutout as the Northstars (18-10) beat the Crimson Knights (11-11) to advance to Friday's sectional final against Ocean.
Central Jersey Group II

Luke Smith pitched a five-hit shutout with eight strikeouts and the Bears (20-5) scored eight runs - four earned - off senior right-hander Jack Sheehan to knock out the Warriors (13-7) and advance to the Central Jersey Group II final against top-seeded Delaware Valley.

Shane Chandler hit a tie-breaking two-run single in the bottom of the fifth and Kyle Mitchell followed with what turned out to be a key RBI double as the Red Raiders upended the Governors to advance to Friday's Central Jersey Group I final against top-seeded South River.
Winning pitcher Christian Smith and Chandler each drove in a run in the third, when Keyport grabbed a 2-1 lead, which South Amboy erased with a run in the top of the fifth. Smith struck out seven in five innings and after the Governors scored two runs off Chandler in the top of the sixth, Kenny Harrigan pitched a scoreless seventh for the save.
South Jersey Group III
(2) Highland 5, (6) Toms River South 0
Anthony Masselli pitched a three-hit shutout and Toms River South starter Justin Fall fell victim to three unearned runs as the Tartans (17-4-1) took down the Indians (22-8) in the sectional semifinals. Fall (6-1) allowed six hits and two earned runs in five innings of work while suffering his first loss of the season.
South Jersey Group II
(6) Cinnaminson 7, (10) Manchester 3
Steven Rodriguez belted a two-run home run in the seventh inning, but it was not enough for the Hawks (13-12) to overcome the Pirates (14-12) in the sectional semifinals. Cinnaminson will travel to play top-seeded West Deptford in the South Jersey Group II final.

John Poccia pitched a one-hit shutout and Mike Veit knocked in the winning run with a bases-loaded RBI single in the bottom of the ninth as the Caseys edged the Irish and advanced to Friday's sectional quarterfinal round against No. 4 Camden Catholic.
(6) St. Augustine 8, (3) CBA 3
The Hermits (17-7) scored three runs each in the fourth and fifth innings and the Colts (19-9) could not overcome the deficit as the defending Non-Public A champs fell to St. Augustine.
All three fourth-inning runs off CBA starter Kenny Campbell scored on errors and Josh Hood added a two-run double in the top of the fifth to stretch the lead to 6-1. Andrea Dalatri singled home a run to pull CBA even at 1 in the second and Brandon Martorano plated a run for the Colts in the bottom of the seventh.
Billy Chillari allowed four hits over six innings with four strikeouts to earn the win for St. Augustine, which will travel to play No. 2 Gloucester Catholic on Friday in the sectional semifinals.
South Jersey Non-Public B
(3) St. Joseph Hammonton 2, (6) St. Rose 1 (13 Innings)
Bobby Hyndman came through with a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 13th inning and the Purple Roses (19-7) fell to St. Joe's Hammonton (18-5) in the sectional quarterfinals. St. Joe's will play No. 2 Holy Cross in the sectional semifinals on Friday.
