Christian Brothers Academy junior Will Morgan started Saturday's game against Shore Regional in the unfamiliar position of starting pitcher and finished it in the familiar position of terrorizing an opposing pitcher.

The Colts scored eight runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to blow open a 1-1 game and finished off the Blue Devils in six innings to advance to the SCT quarterfinals Wednesday against No. 5 Central.

Morgan finished 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored, while sophomore catcher Brandon Martorano was 2-for-4 with a two-run triple and a run scored and senior Ryan Ramiz went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Moschella also went 2-for-4 and Andrew Buccellato was 2-for-2 with two runs scored in the win. Luca Dalatri pitched 3 1/3 innings of relief to earn the win and improve to 8-0.
