No. 10 Colts Neck 59, Freehold Twp. 53

Senior Ben Bosland scored a game-high 21 points, including the go-ahead three-pointer with 1:14 left in the fourth quarter, to lead the Cougars (10-2, 5-2) to a tough road win over the Patriots (5-7, 3-5).

After trailing 22-16 at half, Colts Neck rallied to tie the game at 39 in the opening minute of the fourth and the three by Bosland gave the Cougars their first lead.

Senior Dan Gaines added 18 points for Colts Neck.

Junior Zach Barilka led Freehold Township with 10 points, while junior Greg Billups and senior Joe Gargiulo each netted added nine points and six rebounds in the loss.

Howell 67, Colonia 46

Senior Brandon Wilson scored a game-high 25 points, handed out five assists and swiped four steals to take home game MVP honors and lead the Rebels (7-3) past the Patriots (7-7) for their seventh straight win since starting the season 0-3.

Senior Nasiem Brantley and junior Matt Ganter each added 11 points, with Ganter also tallying six rebounds and four assists.

Woodbridge 55, Donovan Catholic 44

Senior Anthony Silvestrone scored 15 points to earn team MVP honors for the game, but the Griffins (5-7) dropped the second game of the Coaches vs. Cancer Showcase to the Barrons (6-6).

No. 2 Mater Dei Prep 71, Red Bank 31

Junior Alexander Rice scored 16 points and earned game MVP honors to help lead the Seraphs (11-2) past the Bucs (1-12). Senior Kenny Jones also scored 12 points for Mater Dei.

Central 46, No. 6 Point Beach 44

Junior Walter Maldonado stole a pass out beyond the three-point line and scored just before time expired to give the Golden Eagles (4-10) a thrilling upset win over the Garnet Gulls (7-6).

Toms River North 60, Highland 31

Senior Travis Holland scored 14 points to lead a balanced offensive effort and the Mariners (12-2) rolled to a win over the Tartans (5-10). Junior Nick Duncsak added nine points and sophomore Colin Baker chipped in seven points, eight rebounds and three steals.

Holmdel 50, Manalapan 46

Seniors Tim Zhou and Johnny Christian scored 12 points each and the Hornets (7-5) pulled out a win over the Braves (4-9), who dropped their seventh straight. Sophomore Doug Chan added 10 points for Holmdel.

Barnegat 58, Henry Hudson 36

Senior Mike Revello scored 15 points and senior Carson Francisco poured in 13 as the Bengals (8-4) coasted past the Admirals (1-9) for their fourth straight win and seventh in the last eight games.

Junior Jay Anthony led Henry Hudson with nine points.

Marlboro 55, No. 4 Manasquan 43

Sophomore Alex Ratner poured in a game-high 25 points and the Mustangs (7-6) knocked off the Shore's last remaining unbeaten team to cap a challenging week with a noteworthy win.

Junior Dylan Kaufman added 12 points and senior Eddie Paladino chipped in 10 for Marlboro, which lost to No. 5 CBA and No. 9 Neptune earlier in the week by double-figure margins before breaking through Saturday against Manasquan (11-1).

Red Bank Catholic 62, St. John Vianney 58

Senior John Kelly scored a team-high 19 points and the Caseys (10-4) held off a near-comeback by the Lancers (5-10) to pick up their 10th win of the season.

Sophomore Charlie Gordinier added 17 points and six rebounds while junior Stephen Lubischer pitched in 12 points and six boards for RBC.

Senior Zach Moran led St. John Vianney with 20 points and classmate Chris Mikos poured in 15 in the loss.

Middletown South 69, Jackson Memorial 51

Senior Dave Gervase scored 23 points and the Eagles (8-5) tamed the Jaguars (2-11) for their third straight win. Senior Ryan Purcell added 18 points and senior Nick Unrath chipped in 10 for Middletown South.

No. 8 Ocean 62, Shore 30

Senior Andrew Seager scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Spartans (8-7) past the Blue Devils (5-8). Sophomore Jack Miller added 14 points and five assists while junior Luke Yates pitched in nine points and five assists for Ocean.

Keansburg 42, Sussex Tech 30

Senior Paul Eckleberry put up 21 points and 17 rebounds to lead the Titans (4-7) to a road win over Sussex Tech (1-10). Senior Danny Vital also chipped in 14 points, nine rebounds and three assists for Keansburg.

Cape May Tech 62, Pinelands 59 (OT)

Junior Andrew Schulz scored 19 points and sophomore Ryan Skeie added 13, but the Wildcats (7-6) fell to Cape May Tech (5-6) in overtime.

Junior Josh Wright, who has already reached 1,000 points for his career, led Cape May Tech with a game-high 30 points.

Long Branch 68, Harry S. Truman (N.Y.) 40

Junior Marc Dennis scored 20 points to lead the Green Wave (5-7) past Harry Truman from the Bronx.

Southern 53, Cumberland 39

Junior Cole Markley scored a game-high 16 points to go with five rebounds and four steals, helping the Rams (8-6) beat the Colts (5-6) for their fourth straight win. Senior Thomas Foster also added 11 points and seven rebounds in the win.

No. 5 CBA 58, Eastern 57

Junior Stephen Braunstein hit the game-winning jumper with five seconds left and the Colts (8-3) topped the Vikings (8-5) in dramatic fashion. Braunstein also led CBA with 25 points, while junior Josh Cohen added 13 points and 14 rebounds in the win.
