New for the 2022 season are NJSIAA Regional Invitational Tournaments in place of the traditional consolation games for certain teams that did not qualify for the state playoffs. Teams who finished ranked 17th through 24th in the final United Power Rankings are eligible to compete in the consolation tournaments.
