Highlights
- State No. 1 Delbarton dominated the field with 10 region champions and advanced all 13 of its postseason entrants to the state tournament.
- Delbarton senior Vincent Lee earned M.O.W. honors by defeating reigning NJSIAA 215-pound champion Hudson Skove of Rumson-Fair Haven, 5-3, on the strength of a five-point move in the second period. It is Skove's first loss since the 2022 Beast of the East finals, snapping a 70-bout winning streak.
- Holmdel sophomore Alex Reyes became the Hornets' third region champion in program history and the first to win a region title as an underclassman.
- Red Bank Catholic senior Noah Michaels became the fifth region champion in program history and the first outside of the Portella Family (Sabino, 3x; Lorenzo 2x) to win a region title since Mike Conte's Region 6 heavyweight title in 1983.
- Rumson-Fair Haven freshman Sonny Amato continued his outstanding debut season by winning the 144-pound title with a major decision over Raritan senior returning state medalist Zach Reilley.
- Howell freshman hammer Tanner Hodgins had a brutal draw facing returning state champion Alessio Perentin of Delbarton in the quarterfinals. After losing to Perentin by major decision, Hodgins won his next three bouts by fall, technical fall, and fall to place third.
- Keansburg senior Dominic Terraciano was the 126-pound runner-up to give the Titans their first state qualifier since state champion Tyree Sutton in 2015. He is the program's third state qualifier in program history.
- Rumson's eight state qualifiers are the most in program history.
