The top four seeds in the Shore Conference Boys Basketball Tournament have advanced to tonight’s semifinals in Toms River with both games to be streamed live on shoresportsnetwork.com as well as our Facebook page.
In the opener at 6 p.m., the Ranney roadshow takes center stage as the defending champions and #1 seed take on Freehold Township at the RWJBarnabas Health Arena. It’s another opportunity for local fans to see the dynamic duo of Bryan Antoine and Scottie Lewis against a Patriots team led by Greg Billups and Cristian Corcione.
The second game (7:45) finds Manasquan battling CBA in what should be a game that goes down to the wire. The second-seeded Warriors feature rugged forward Alex Galvan and sharpshooter Brad McCabe against a Colts squad led by senior 1,000 point scorers in Josh Cohen and Stephen Braunstein. The winners will meet in Saturday's championship game at the OceanFirst Bank Center on the campus of Monmouth University.
