Warriors Swim To Title

The Manasquan girls swimming team won their first-ever state sectional championship Thursday night with a dominating win over West Windsor-Plainsboro South in the Central Jersey Public B finals. Sophie Smith, Sarah Brennan and Kathryn Petrone each collected a pair of individual victories to lead the Warriors, who had lost in the sectional finals a year ago. Coach Craig Murin’s team will face Gloucester Tech in the Public B group semifinals next Tuesday.
