Wall Tops Manasquan in Thanksgiving matchup, 21-14
The Crimson Knights (3-7) of Wall built a 21-0 lead by the second quarter and then held on to beat the Manasquan Warriors (3-7) 21-14 thanks to a great all-around performance by junior quarterback/defensive back Matt Cluley.
Cluley went over 100 yards rushing and ran for three touchdowns, including scoring runs of 26 and 21 yards, and also had the game-sealing interception on defense in the final seconds.
Manasquan quarterback Liam Grieb threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to wideout Max Hawkins and a 4-yard touchdown pass to senior tight end Tanner Cowley in the loss.
