Point Pleasant Boro 6, Lakewood 0…The Panthers improved to 11-1-1 with a shutout win over Lakewood on Senior Night.  All six goals score by graduating seniors Sabino Graziano (2), Jenna Andujar (1), Amy Bergquist (1), Robin Fiorentino (1) and Lauren Onembo (1).   With the win the Panthers stay in the hunt for the B-South crown, a 1/2 game lead over Central Regional with two games left against Manchester and Toms River South.

 

Brick Township 3, Toms River East 0…The Brick Dragons continue their roller coaster season, this time on a high note with a huge division win over Toms River East 3-0.  With the win the Dragons improve to 6-8-0 and East dropped to 10-3-1.  The Dragons look to be two games shy of qualifying for the Shore Conference Tournament where they need to be .500 or better and have no games scheduled between now and Sunday night.  Goals scored by Kendall Stadelberger, Kaitlyn Kerrigan, and Casey Palmer.  With the loss and the Jags loss to Brick Memorial, the Raiders still are in control for the A-South crown.

 

Brick Memorial 3, Jackson Memorial 2…The Mustangs need only 17 seconds into overtime to net the game winner from Gianna Stigliano and lift Brick Memorial to a crucial A-South conference 3-2 victory.  Taylor Schaad and Emma Carney each scored for Brick Memorial while Caitlyn Fogarty and Emily Jacoby scored for Jackson Memorial.  WIth the loss the Jaguars lost an opportunity to pick up ground on the Raiders loss for the A-South crown.

Shore Regional 3, St. Rose 1…The Blue Devils finishes of B-Central undefeated with a 3-1 win over St. Rose to move to 11-3-1 (8-0) and dropped the Purple Rose to 5-7 (4-4).  Shore scoring from Sophie Hauritz, Devon McDonough and Frankie McDonough,

 

Howell 4, Freehold Township 3…The Rebels improved their record to 8-5 while dropping Freehold Township to 10-2-1 and handing the Patriots their only two losses of the season.  Howell's come from behind win saw goals from Bethany Feinstein with two goals and Nicolette Runko with the other.  Township scoring from Nicole Whitley, Jasmine Colbert and Meg Summonte.

 

Red Bank Catholic 4, Neptune 1…The Casey 4-1 win over Neptune improved their record to 9-6-2 and dropped the Scarlet Fliers to 6-9-1.  Sophomore Sophie Demurjian scored two 1st half goals and added a 2nd half assist to lead the Caseys to a 4-1 win over Neptune in a B North division game. Jyllissa Harris and Olivia Lucia added 2nd half goals as RBC completed the regular season.

 

Toms River North 2, Southern 0…Toms River keeps pace in A-South with a shutout win over Southern.  With the win the Mariners improve to 9-1-4 (7-1-4 conference) and stay within reach of Toms River East for the division with Lacey and Toms River South left on the regular season schedule.

Red Bank Catholic 7, Long Branch 0…Junior Sophie Demurjian scored 3 goals in a 16 minute span to lead the Caseys to a 7-0 home win over Long Branch in a B North Contest.  The Caseys improve to 8-6-2 and the Green Wave fell to 2-12.  Casey goals from Demurjian (3), Juliana Rafanello (1), Jylissa Harris (1), Jackie Rieger (1) and Bridget Byrne (1).

 

Saint Rose 2, Egg Harbor 0…The Purple Roses improved to 5-6 with a shutout win over Egg Harbor in non-conference action.  Saint Rose scoring from (   )Hickey and (    )Cooper.

 

Matawan 1, Red Bank Regional 0…Matawan picked up their second win of the season in a B-North contest versus Red Bank Regional.  With the Matawan improved to 2-11-1 and Red Bank fell to 2-12.  Huskies goal from DoraAnn Marshall in the fifteenth minute.

 

Rumson Fair Haven 2, Raritan 0…Rumson continues their winning ways with a 2-0 shutout over Raritan.  RFH finishes A-central play undefeated with a record of 11-0-1 and overall record of 13-1-1.  The team recorded their 10th shutout.  Raritan falls to (2-8-2).  Rumson goal from Grace Forsyth and Kelly Danaher.
