CLASS A SOUTH

Toms River South 12, Jackson Memorial 10

Ethan Lucas struck for six goals and Cooper Guzzi notched a hat trick with one assist to lead the Indians (3-1, 1-1) past the Jaguars (4-2, 1-1).

Anthony Alvarez added two goals and three assists and Andrew Xiques scored once for Toms River South. Mike Caufield had a team-high six ground balls and also assisted on a goal.

 

CLASS B NORTH

No. 10 Holmdel 9, Ranney 2

Billy DiMaio tallied four goals with one assist and Joe Hazel scored twice with three assist as the Hornets (3-3, 1-2) topped the Panthers (0-3, 0-2) in Holmdel.

Kevin Burmeister also scored twice and Jack Cook had one goal and three assists while winning all 12 face-offs and picking up 12 ground balls. Nick Tucillo made 11 saves.

Noah Ayers and Marc Greenstein scored for Ranney while Ian Dobrzynski made 22 saves.

 

Shore 12, Red Bank 7

Sophomore midfielder Gil Goldsmith led all players with three goals and four assists to help the Blue Devils (4-2, 3-0) defeat the Bucs (0-6, 0-2) and remain undefeated within the division.

Junior attackman Ryan Morris also scored three times while freshman Tom Bocco scored twice and senior LSM Ean Delehanty had one goal and three assists. Jake Turner, Jack McCrae and Lucas Jackey each scoed once and Jack Brignola made eight saves.

Kent Hottman had a hat trick and Dan Bonanno scored twice to lead Red Bank. Brady Gilmartin finished with one goal and one assist, and Woody Quinn scored once and Matt Gibson made 15 saves.

NONDIVISIONAL

No. 8 St. John Vianney 14, Toms River North 6

Senior midfielder Ryan Gilfillan scored a game-high five goals with one assist and senior attackman Andrew Porretta had one goal and four assists to record his 100th career point as the Lancers (3-4) ran past the Mariners (5-2).

Matt Franzoni scored four goals with one assist and freshman Anthony Brett scored two goals with two assists. Chris Kelly also scored twice for St. John Vianney while C.J. Hanson made nine saves.

 

Toms River East 14, Barnegat 3

 

NONCONFERENCE

No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 18, Allentown 3

Senior attackman Colin Pavluk erupted for career-high six goals and seven points while Charlie Curran and Alex Werner each registered five points to power the Bulldogs (6-1) past the Redbirds (1-6).

Curran finished with three goals and two assists and Werner had one goal and four assists. Wyatt Feinberg also added two goals and Oliver Heins, Bryan Hess, Ryan Tuorto and Andrew Walsh each contributed one goal.

 

No. 6 Southern 11, Oakcrest 2

Seniors Kyle Mulrane and Will Johnson each scored four goals while sophomore attackman Nick Fontana had four assists to lead the Rams (5-2) past the Falcons (1-4).

Anellio Russo added two goals and two assists and Cade Johnson scored once. Tristan Farina made 12 saves in goal to help Southern to its third straight victory.
