Matawan High School

Former Matawan High School football standout John "Charlie" Rogers Jr. has been released from custody under set provisions two days after turning himself into Aberdeen Police on charges related to an October incident where he allegedly threatened someone and their family with a sword.

In hopes of proving last year was just an off-year at 2-8, Matawan fully plans to turn things around and make a return to the postseason in 2017.
