Surf Taco Girls Soccer Week 1 of the Week: Central

Central Regional started the season ranked No. 8 in the Shore 16 and has moved up to No. 5 after the first week of the season -- a start worthy of the first Surf Taco Girls Soccer Team of the Week Award of the 2023 season and received a $250 Gift Card from Surf Taco.

The Golden Eagles opened the season by defeating No. 12 Lacey, 6-2, behind senior Emma Harmon’s four goals. They followed that by defeating No. 9 St. John Vianney in a Shore Conference Tournament Group 7 game, 3-2. Harmon scored her fifth goal of the season in that game and senior Arianna Chidiac and freshman Leah DiCillo both added goals.
