Showdown for A North Supremacy
The Jersey Mike’s Game of the Week finds the Shore Sports Network visiting Manalapan High School Friday night as the Braves host Howell in a battle of 5-0 squads with first place in Class A North on the line (Freehold Township is also unbeaten in the division). Manalapan comes into the game ranked #1 in the latest Jeep Store Top Ten while the visiting Rebels occupy the #5 spot and both teams boast prolific offenses led by outstanding skill players.
Manalapan is averaging 42 points per game in large part due to running back Naim Mayfield and quarterback Luke Corcione while Howell has put up nearly 38 points per game with quarterback Eddie Morales and receiver Naseim Brantley forming an at times unstoppable combination.
The game will be broadcast live by Matt Harmon, Kevin Williams and Ed Sarluca on 1160 & 1310AM with a live stream on shoresportsnetwork.com beginning at 6:50 pm. Those with smartphones can also download the FREE Shore Sports Network mobile app and listen right on their handheld device.
