SHORE SPORTS NETWORK LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mark Buannic, Sr., Attack, Howell
An Eastern University commit, Buannic has gotten off to a blistering start with nine goals and 12 assists in Howell’s first three games to help the Rebels to a 3-0 start.
In a season-opening 11-9 win over Robbinsville, Buannic had three goals and five assists, including two goals and one assist in the fourth quarter put the Rebels ahead. Howell then went on the road and secured an 8-7 victory over Randolph, and Buannic tallied three goals and three assists. On Tuesday the Rebels topped Jackson Liberty 11-4 with Buannic scoring three times and assisting on four more goals.
Howell takes on Ranney on Thursday and Colts Neck on Tuesday as it looks to start 5-0 for the first time since 2011.
