Three Shore Regional student-athletes signed their respective National Letters of Intent to Division I programs on Wednesday.

The NCAA early signing period began on Wednesday, Nov. 8 and continues through Nov. 15.

Seniors Mary Kate George, Max Walther and Abby Kopec all signed on to continue their athletic careers in college. George is headed to Ohio State University for girls lacrosse while Kopec is also going to Ohio State on a field hockey scholarship. Walther, a swimmer, will attend Princeton University.

George had 79 goals and 36 assists for 115 points last season to help the Blue Devils reach the Central Jersey Group I semifinals. Kopec scored 26 goals and added 20 assists as the Blue Devils reached the North 2, Group I sectional final. Walther won the 100 freestyle and tied for the win in the 50 freestyle at the 2017 Shore Conference Championships.
