Class A North

No. 3 Freehold Twp. 2, Howell 1

Junior Aidan Englander scored the game-winning goal in the 78th minute -- his first career varsity goal -- and the Patriots rallied to beat the Rebels.

Howell jumped in front early in the first half on a goal by senior Ken Emerick before Freehold Township senior Herman Colbert answered in the 56th with a goal off a feed from classmate Josh Hocheiser. Colbert also assisted Englander's winner.

No. 1 CBA 1, Middletown South 0

Junior Jack D'Eletto scored the game's lone goal in the 21st minute off a pass from senior Jack McGagh and the Colts fought off a challenge from the Eagles.

No. 9 Marlboro 2, Middletown North 0

Senior Akash Bhujle broke a scoreless tie off a pass from senior Matt Kaplan in the second half and senior Ben Rothman headed in a cross from senior Dylan Kipperman for an insurance goal as the Mustangs shutout out the Lions.

No. 6 Manalapan 1, No. 10 Long Branch 0

Junior Anthony Sarkisov rifled a shot in off a pass from senior Aditya Kasina in the first minute of the game and the Braves made it hold up to beat the Green Wave while running their unbeaten streak to seven games.

Goalkeeper Matteo Paolillo saved a shot to the upper corner of the goal frame in the second half to preserve the lead and the shutout.

 

Class A Central

No. 7 Holmdel 1, Raritan 0

Junior Aiden Hynes scored the game-winning goal off a pass from sophomore David Weiner in the 70th minute and the Hornets escaped with a win over the Rockets.

Monmouth 3, Red Bank Catholic 0

Senior Kaan Pehlivan assisted goals by senior Will Theobald and Ethan Wallace, then scored one of his own off a free kick by sophomore Anthony Cano to lead the Falcons to a win over the Caseys.

No. 5 Rumson-Fair Haven 3, No. 8 Ocean 2

Junior Antonio Santos struck a low laser from 23 yards out that found the back of the net for the game-winner in the 69th minute, capping a second-half comeback for the Bulldogs in a huge win over the Spartans.

Rumson trailed, 2-0, at halftime and quickly swung the momentum in its favor with a goal. Junior Alec Pentikis broke free and beat goalkeeper Pace Castello to slice the deficit to 2-1 in the 45th minute.

Less than four minutes later, the Bulldogs tied it up when Jake Brown flicked Santos's free kick toward the goal and senior Mike Calabrese cleaned it up in front of the goal to make it 2-2.

In the 69th, Santos had his initial shot blocked, but it came back toward him, allowing him to one-time a screamer to the left corner of the frame.

Ocean jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the fourth minute on a goal by senior Aidan Tisony, who later assisted a goal by senior Michael Reid in the 27th to put Ocean ahead, 2-0.

 

Class B North

Colts Neck 3, Manasquan 3

Junior Braeden Chek scored in the 30th minute to get Manasquan on the board and the Warriors scored two more goals in the second half to rally from a 3-0 deficit and salvage a tie with the Cougars.

Junior Matt Karolak finished off a flick from sophomore Luke Roy in the 45th minute to draw Manasquan within a goal and senior Mike Cafiero struck for the equalizer midway through the second half off a corner kick by Karolak.

Senior Tom Samaras scored two of Colts Neck's three goals while freshman Kyle Moore assisted two of them. Moore assisted a goal by Christian Perette that made the score 2-0 in the 14th minute and also set up Samaras's second goal in the 27th.

St. John Vianney 4, Red Bank 2

Senior Johnny Troiano assisted the equalizer by junior Danny Herndon, scored the game-winning goal in the 72nd minute and finished with a hat trick to lead the Lancers to a comeback win over the Bucs.

Herdon's goal tied the game at two in the 60th minute and Troiano struck in both the 72nd and 76th to secure the win for St. John Vianney. Kyle DiMarco set up the winner with a through-ball that teed up Troiano for a left-footed finish and Troiano headed in a corner kick to finish off the win. Troiano's first goal came in the first minute off touch by Herndon off a Jack Allen throw-in.

Jacob Kirkpatrick and Mario Moza each scored a goal to help Red Bank jump out to a 2-1 lead.

Neptune 5, Freehold Boro 1

Sophomore Kerven Lafortune posted a hat trick and Anthony Munoz Garcia added a goal and an assist to lead the Scarlet Fliers over the Colonials.

Jordy Garcia scored the other Neptune goal, with sophomore Nate Kerr and junior Ernst Louisius pitching in one assist each.

Sophomore Ammar Danish scored the lone Freehold goal.

No. 4 Wall 2, Matawan 0

Senior Matt Murphy scored for the third straight game and for the sixth time in seventh games to ignite the Crimson Knights to a win over the Huskies.

Murphy's goal came off an assist from sophomore Nick Damiano in the 30th minute and senior Emmett Aravich added an insurance goal in the 76th.

 

Non-Division

Shore 9, Asbury Park 0

Sophomore Maxx Eichenbaum and senior Sage Finch each scored two goals and Eichenbaum also assisted on three to lead the Blue Devils to a rout of the Blue Bishops.

Senior David Barham, sophomore Jadyn DeRosa and senior Jack Walker each scored a first-half goal, while freshman Corey Hazel and sophomore Sean Newbert both scored in the second half.
