Ocean 34, Neptune 24

Sophomore Aidan Saint Louis scored 12 points and the Spartans (2-1) grinded out a win over the Scarlet Fliers (0-4). Junior David Boone led Neptune with seven points.

Freehold Twp. 85, Jackson Liberty 51

Senior Brandon Norero led three Freehold Township players with at least 16 points and the Patriots (3-0) blew the game open with a 29-9 fourth quarter that turned back the Lions (0-4).

Norero finished with 23 points, junior Nick Cardone poured in 18 and senior Andrew Silverman netted 16 to lead Freehold Township.

Junior Lukas Latvys followed up his 27-point effort on Tuesday vs. Donovan Catholic with 19 points on Wednesday to lead Jackson Liberty, which took the lead early in the third quarter before Freehold Township seized control.

Henry Hudson 74, Somerset Tech 64

Junior Jack Fitzpatrick drained 25 points and the Admirals (4-0) kept rolling to open the season with a road win over Somerset Tech (2-2).

Sophomore Billy Quinn scored his first 11 varsity points to aide the Henry Hudson cause, while freshman JoJo Newell and senior Damyon Sparks-Edwards each chipped in nine in the win. Sophomore Michael Fitzpatrick and junior Kevin Pharo added to a balanced Admirals scoring attack with eight points apiece.

No. 16 Shore 64, Central Jersey College Prep 37

Senior Gianni Fiumefreddo led a balanced Blue Devils (3-1) box score with 12 points in a rout of Central Jersey College Prep (0-2). Junior Bryce Crowe added 11 points and senior Dom DiFiore pitched in eight for Shore, which took over the game with a 25-4 second-quarter run that put the Blue Devils ahead, 37-13, at halftime.
