The annual Seaside Park Lifeguard Tournament was held this Monday but unfortunately not completed as a storm came through just over halfway through the event. It appeared host Seaside Park and Ship Bottom were on a collision course to decide the team title as they split victories in the first four events before lightning forced officials to call the event off. Despite the disappointment the competition provided some exciting moments as lifeguards from several local beaches swam, rowed, paddled and ran in a test of skills they use to protect swimmers throughout the summer.
