Girls soccer results for Saturday 9/19/15

Freehold Twp 4, Middletown North 0…Nicole Whitley’s four-goal performance carried Freehold Twp to a Class A North win over Middletown North.  Whitley score in the 11^th minute from Olivia Schwartz. In the 18^th minute, she connected once again on a 1-2 play with Jasmine Colbert. In the 24^th minute, Kayla West found a wide open Whitley for her third.  Five minutes later, Whitley scored on a square pass from Laura Noseworthy. Freehold improved to 4-0 and Middletown North fell to 2-1.

Long Branch 5, Trinity Hall 2…Trinity Hall fell to 1-3 and Long Branch picked up their first win of the season and improved to 1-3.  Mya Daniels, and Julissa Reyes scored two goals and DaVonna Gill added one. Julia Henning and Avery Nocella each scored a goal for Trinity Hall.

Manalapan 2, Middletown South 0…Manalapan improved to 3-0 on the season with a shutout win over A North foe Middletown South, which has now lost two in a row to drop to 3-2. Arianna Ferraro converted a penalty kick in the 30^th minute and then five minutes later Ariella Kaplan added the other goal for the Braves

Shore 2, Ocean1…Shore Regional used a second half surge to trip up Ocean for their first loss of the season. Ocean score first with a goal from Sydni Greaves in the first half.  Shore scored in the opening minutes of the second half on a goal from Frankie McDonough. The two teams battled into the second overtime when Shannon Bonner scored the winner for Shore. Shore improves to 3-2-1 and Ocean drops to 4-1.

Point Boro 6, Lakewood 1…The Panthers scored six first-half goals to improve 5-1 and drop Lakewood to 0-5. Boro got two goals from Julia Fitzsimmons, two from Mimi Leturgez and a goal apiece from Kaitlyn Seitter and Devon Wondolowski. Lakewood goal was scored by Jasmine Vasquez.
