Class A Central

No. 8 Manasquan 37, Holmdel 0

Fullback Jack Bianco ran for a career-high three touchdowns, junior James McAlary added a 75-yard touchdown run, and Tucker Caccavale threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Tanner Cowley as the Warriors (6-1, 4-1) won their fifth straight game and registered their second shutout of the season by blanking the Hornets (1-6, 0-4).

Class A South

Brick Memorial 12, Southern 7

Connor Owen ran for a one-yard touchdown and Rob Triano had a four-yard scoring run as the Mustangs (5-2, 3-2) built a 12-0 lead on their way to downing the Rams (3-3, 2-3) thanks to over 107 yards rushing by Triano and 124 yards rushing by senior Mike Basile.

Brick Memorial ran out the final 6:21 of the game up by five thanks to its running game. Southern scored on a 69-yard touchdown pass from Logan Sheehan to Rob Yaiser in the third quarter.

Brick 28, Toms River North 21

Junior quarterback Carmen Sclafani, a Toms River North transfer, ran for a 43-yard touchdown and also threw a 14-yard pass to freshman Ja'sir Taylor for his first varsity touchdown as the Green Dragons (5-2, 4-1) built a 28-7 lead and held off the Mariners (0-6, 0-5).

Junior Ray Fattaruso also had a 1-yard touchdown run and senior Mike Muratore added a 4-yard touchdown run and had an interception on defense for Brick.

Quarterback Mike Husni threw a pair of touchdown passes and ran for a 7-yard score in the loss for Toms River North. He threw a 16-yard scoring pass to Jordan Craig and also found freshman wideout Darrion Carrington for an eight-yard touchdown pass to cut it to seven points with 1:34 left in the game before Brick recovered the ensuing onside kick.

Class B North

Neptune 26, Freehold 7

Jaree Parrish ran for two touchdowns and caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Shakeem Richardson to help the Scarlet Fliers (3-4, 2-3) pick up a win over the Colonials (0-6, 0-4).

Hunter Daly added a 28-yard field goal in the win.

Josh Dixon had a 7-yard touchdown run in the loss for Freehold.

Class B Central

Keyport 56, Keansburg 35

Senior quarterback Alex Thomson threw two touchdown passes to wideout Jeff Sheard, ran for a pair of scores and also recovered a fumble in the end zone for another touchdown as the Red Raiders (5-2, 2-1) won a shootout over the rival Titans (1-6, 0-3).

Sophomore fullback Ky'Sun Pryor added a pair of touchdown runs, and Drew Bright had an interception return for a touchdown in the win.

Senior Kason Preston had a pair of touchdown runs, Joey Rodriguez ran for a score, and Tyree Sutton had a touchdown catch and blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown for the Titans.

Shore 38, Mater Dei Prep 12

The Blue Devils (5-1, 2-0) won their fifth straight game as they rolled up 335 yards on the ground, led  by halfback Brian Miller's 153 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries to down the Seraphs (3-4, 1-4).

Chris Francisco added 70 yards rushing and a touchdown, and sophomore fullback Doug Goldsmith and senior quarterback Matt Muh each added touchdown runs. Junior kicker Jake Monteiro also nailed a 43-yard field goal in the win.

Nondivisional

No. 5 Rumson-FH 42, Msgr. Donovan 7

Junior tailback Charlie Volker ran for 244 yards and four touchdowns, including 181 yards and two scores in the first half, as the Bulldogs (6-0) remained unbeaten by taking care of the Griffins (3-3). Volker also went over the 1,000-yard mark for the season, giving Rumson a pair of 1,000-yard rushers in the last three years along with Connor Riley in 2011.

Quarterback Chase Caruso added a 1-yard touchdown on a keeper, and back-up quarterback Max Mullaney threw a 44-yard touchdown pass to Murray McHeffey in the fourth quarter. Rumson's defense still has not allowed more than one touchdown in any game this season.

Quarterback Vinny Grasso had a 53-yard touchdown run for the Griffins.
