Class B Central

Keyport 36, Mater Dei Prep 16

Sophomore fullback Ky'Sun Pryor had 119 yards rushing and a touchdown and also caught a 22-yard touchdown and a pair of two-point conversions, and the Red Raiders (4-1, 1-1) held the Seraphs (3-2, 1-2) to 54 total yards to pick up the win.

Senior quarterback Alex Thomson finished with 146 total yards, throwing for two touchdowns, including a 37-yard strike to Jeff Sheard, and running for a 1-yard score. Chase Bright added 70 yards rushing and a touchdown in the win.

Junior Tysaun White had a 96-yard interception return for a touchdown and an 82-yard punt return for a score in the loss for the Seraphs.

Nondivisional

Manasquan 38, No. 4 Middletown South 0

The Warriors (4-1) posted a statement victory by stunning the Eagles (2-2) as senior quarterback Tucker Caccavale went 17-for-23 for a career-high 350 yards passing and four touchdowns to lead the assault, and the defense limited Middletown South to 157 total yards to become the first team to shut the Eagles out in 11 years.

Senior tailback Joe Murphy ran for 88 yards, including a 71-yard touchdown, and also had a 72-yard touchdown on a screen pass from Caccavale. Senior Joe Fittin had a 26-yard touchdown catch, junior Tanner Cowley had a 15-yard scoring grab and senior running back Jack Bianco hauled in a 13-yard touchdown in the win. Raul Perez added a 25-yard field goal.

No. 1 RB Catholic 35, Freehold 0

The Shore Conference's leading scorer, senior tailback Larry Redaelli, added two more touchdown runs, and the defense posted its third shutout in five games as the Caseys (5-0) blanked the Colonials (0-4) for their 29th straight win against Shore Conference competition.

Sophomore quarterback Eddie Hahn added a 20-yard touchdown pass to senior wideout Connor Smith, junior running back Mike Cordova had a 15-yard touchdown run, and junior Tommy Spernal added a touchdown run in the win.

No. 9 Brick 25, Wall 6

Junior quarterback Carmen Sclafani ran for a 1-yard score and also threw a 16-yard touchdown to Tom Leech as the Green Dragons (4-1) picked up a win over the Crimson Knights (3-2).

Senior Mike Muratore added a 2-yard touchdown run, and junior Ray Fattaruso had a touchdown run to cap the win. Steve Ferlisi and Joe Bruno each had interceptions to help lead the defense.

Nonconference

Keansburg 41, Highland Park 6

Joey Rodriguez ran for three touchdowns of 14, 28 and 17 yards and also caught a 20-yard touchdown on a screen pass from Arkeyel Brown as the Titans (1-4) beat the Owls (0-5) to pick up their first win and give new head coach Chris Damian his first career victory.

Brown also threw a 51-yard touchdown pass to senior Kason Preston, and Preston added a 70-yard touchdown run as the Titans surpassed their entire point total (36) from the season entering the game.
