St. John Vianney 12, Long Branch 0

 

NONDIVISIONAL

No. 2 Manasquan 17, No. 6 Red Bank Catholic 7

Junior midfielder Devan Carroll and freshman attackman Canyon Birch each scored four goals as the Warriors (3-0) continued their torrid start to the season by downing the Caseys (1-1).

Junior attackman Jarrett Birch and freshman midfielder James Pendergist added three goals each.

 

Brick Memorial 15, Marlboro 6

Billy Porter scored four goals and added one assist and Henry Moran sank two goals along with dishing out five assists to power Brick Memorial (2-0) to a victory over Marlboro (0-2).

Mike Mowder scored three times and Trevor Courtwright and Adam Plumacher each tallied twice. Luke Vescovi picked up a team-high eight ground balls, and Chris Sayers made five saves.

NONCONFERENCE

No. 1 Rumson-Fair Haven 9, Shawnee 5

Senior attackman Robbie Garavante scored three goals and added three assists, and senior attackman Griffin Schultz had two goals and three assists to lead the Bulldogs (1-1) to a road victory over the defending South Jersey Group III champion Renegades (1-1).

Senior midfielder Matt Waters scored twice and junior midfielder Bryan Hess chipped in with a goal and an assist. Junior attackman Charlie Curran also scored a goal. Senior goalie Kyle Knapp made eight saves to earn the win.

 

No. 4 CBA 9, Kinnelon 8

Senior attackman Shay Walczak scored the go-ahead goal with 1:51 left in regulation as CBA (1-1) rallied form a 6-2 deficit to down Kinnelon.

Kinnelon led by four midway through the second quarter before CBA closed the game on a 7-2 run. Freshman attackman Connor Macrae scored a team-high three goals while Walczak and junior attackman Nick Casner finished with two goals and two assists each. Senior midfielder Shane McGuiness also scored twice and senior midfielder John Salcedo had two assists. Junior goalie Ryan McGuiness made 10 saves.
