The Rumson-Fair Haven girls lacrosse team continued its dominance against Shore Conference opponents on Wednesday, and in doing so brought home its second straight sectional title.

Chase Boyle scored four goals and added two assists and Gil Curran scored three times with one assist as the Bulldogs rocked Manasquan, 16-4, to capture the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 2 title on their home turf at Borden Stadium. Meg MacGillis, Cassie James and Allie McGinty each scored twice, Jordan Johnson and Kate Caruso had a goal and an assist each and Sophia Berry scored once.

The sectional final was a rematch of the Shore Conference Tournament championship which Rumson won, 11-7, on Saturday, May 12 to claim its historic sixth consecutive SCT title. This time around the Bulldogs made sure it wasn't nearly that close by jumping out to an insurmountable 14-1 halftime lead.

Rumson has now won 105 straight games against Shore Conference teams.
