Athletics and athletics have clearly joined the battle to raise awareness about autism and at the same time raise money to fund research in the hope that we can learn more about the complex developmental disability. It was earlier this month that 64 Shore Conference Baseball and Softball teams took part in the 5th annual Strike Out Autism Challenge and this Saturday night the New York Red Bulls will host Autism Awareness Night. The MLS team will host the Chicago Fire at 7:30pm at Red Bull Arena in Harrison.

Presented by Speedway $3.00 for each ticket purchased with the promo code AUTISM17 will be donated to Autism Speaks. There will also be a Quiet Zone available for families impacted by Autism who are looking to take a break from the game.
