Red Bank pulled off a huge win over the Ocean (2-1, 2-1) on the road to improve to 3-0 for the first time in over a decade with a 16-6 Shore Conference Class B North victory on Friday night.

Senior quarterback Jack Navitsky threw for 188 yards and a touchdown, an 88-yard scoring play to Matt Reardon in the third quarter, and the Bucs (3-0, 3-0) defense stymied a red-hot Ocean offense to earn the monumental victory. Chris Outerbridge returned a fumble 28 yards for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter and Jack O’Connor kicked a 32-yard field goal.

Red Bank’s defense held Ocean running back Tyler Thompson to 65 yards rushing. Thompson had ran for 397 yards and seven touchdowns over the Spartan’s first two games.
