As much as the third-seeded Red Bank Catholic team struggled to score in the first half of its WOBM Christmas Classic quarterfinal against No. 6 Donovan Catholic, the Caseys were equally on-point in the second half.

Senior Alex Barazotti scored 17 of her game-high 21 points in the second half and the Caseys rallied from a 26-18 halftime deficit to beat the Griffins and advance to Sunday's semifinals against Middletown South. Red Bank Catholic outscored Donovan Catholic 23-9 in the third quarter and 24-9 in the fourth to close it out, making it a 47-18 second-half run for the Caseys.

Josie Larkins added 15 points, while freshman Rose Caverly chipped in 10 in the win. Chelsea Crowe led Donovan Catholic with 16 points.

Stephanie Karcz followed up her triple-double from Monday by scoring 19 points and leading Middletown South past the Golden Eagles and into the semifinals Sunday against Red Bank Catholic. Alexandra Balsamo added 14 points and Julia Valkos poured in 10 in the win.

Senior Katelyn Kuster led Central with 11 points.
