Senior Jaedon Stephens scored three total touchdowns and quarterback Davon Thompson threw three touchdown passes to lead Asbury Park (2-1, 1-1) to a 42-19 Shore Conference Class B Central victory over Mater Dei Prep (2-1, 1-1) on Friday night

Stephens caught touchdown passes of 8 and 20 yards from Thompson and also ran for a 60-yard touchdown, finishing with four receptions for 104 yards.. Thompson also had a 17-yard touchdown pass to Daquan Young. Charles Sanders ran for 121 yards on 15 carries.

Sophomore quarterback Kyle Devaney threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns for Mater Dei Prep, while wide receiver Eddie Lewis caught 7 passes for 95 yards. John Lubintus had a 69-yard touchdown run and finished with 97 yards. Justice George caught a 48-yard touchdown pass and Juwan Mitchell caught a 4-yard touchdown pass.
