As New Jersey and the nation are still on edge following the Boston Marathon bombing nearly a week ago, Lakewood Police with K9 dogs responded to the report of an unattended package at the bus terminal. The report was unfounded and the terminal reopened according to TheLakewoodScoop.com.

Terminal 4 concourse B was evacuated late Sunday afternoon at JFK Airport in New  York when a suspicious package was put on a plane according to WABC TV. It turned out to be tape and a toothpaste in a bag.

In Philadelphia the Independence Mall Visitors Center was closed around noon for what they called an "emergency."

National Park officials would not elaborate on the closure except to call it an "emergency."
